Description

The Croft is a traditional cottage located adjacent to and overlooking Sandend beach. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, air source heating and a wood burning stove. It can comfortably accommodate six with three bedrooms and an attic playroom with games console. The living room has a TV, a blueray DVD player and wireless internet. There is secluded outdoor space at the back and seating at the front overlooking Sandend bay. The beach is popular with surfers, and body boarders when the surf is up. It offers excellent opportunties for swimming, snorkelling, fishing, sandcastles and rockpooling. There are fantastic coastal walks in both directions.

“An amazing week in an incredible cottage”

This unbelievable cottage was everything we had hoped for and more. It had everything we needed, was comfortable and brilliantly stocked with so many things to keep all of us as a family entertained. We loved walking out of the front door and standing looking at the sea, we loved a cozy evening fire and a game of darts to keep us entertained. The beds were extremely comfortable, the lounge was spacious and allowed all six of us to sit and play games together. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans and equipment that we needed and the upstairs hideout was a great space for the kids to relax. All in all we had the best week! We got to see Fort George in Inverness, went to hunt for Ness and so much more. Thank you for the wonderful cottage and making our week so special...

“Excellent cottage and place to relax”

Having a fabulous week at The Croft in Sandend. The cottage it's self it has great amenities and is very comfortable, you can sit out front with the coffee or a glass of wine watching the surfer's in the bay which is literally on the doorstep! Or have a quiet time out back in the garden eating lunch and reading a book. Loving the beach walks morning and afternoon with the dog who is suitably knackered with all his running around. Loads to do within a short drive if you're looking for things, plus lots of good walks. Hubby did the coastal walks to Cullen and also to Portsoy.

“Beautiful views and comfortable lodgings.”

From beginning to end a wonderful relaxing holiday was had by all. On arrival the cottage was warm, welcoming and a wonderful gift was left for us which was a wonderful surprise. The Den was amazing for the kids who loved having somewhere special to go away from us adults. With the beach less than a stone's throw away we enjoyed beach walks everyday, which the dog absolutely loved. Would highly recommend Sandend.

“Weeks break”

Very pleasant surprise when we arrived later than planned with shortcake,Prosecco and milk already in the kitchen, nice touch. Location excellent right on the beach at Sandend,we all fell asleep to the sound of the waves everynight. The cottage is very well fitted out and contains everything that you could need and I mean everything. The woodburner was especially welcoming at night and made it very cosy indeed,Our dog loved the beach walks and going for a swim then snoozing in front of it. The beds were nice and firm very comfy. The den was very popular with our daughter sitting in the window reading or just watching the waves and the surfers. Location was excellent for visiting the area with no shortage of shops,supermarkets etc within a short drive. I would have no hesitation to stay at the Croft again. Ronnie, Karen,Caitlin and Mya

“Epic”

From the moment we opened the door we were totally charmed by the Croft. The kids loved the den which alllowed us to have a lie in. The views across the bay are stunning. The attention to detail within the cottage is a real delight. It's so well equipped for everyone in the family I loved the kitchen and the dogs loved lazing in front of the log burner. The beach is beautiful and we all enjoyed Suds surf school, in particular Polly the golden retriever who came paddle boarding with us! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We'll be back!

“Our Amazing Holiday in The Croft Sandend”

Our daughter, her husband and children aged 7 & 9 stayed with us in the cottage. We all thoroughly enjoyed the cottage, the view across the beach and the harbour. The facilities in the cottage are superb. We hope to be able to return next year.
