Description

Fish Trap is the perfect location for a relaxing getaway! You can relax and chat with friends in the screened-in porch or roast marshmallows around the fire pit between the river and the cabin. Stacked, dried firewood is available for you to use for a small fee. Inside, you'll find a fully-equipped kitchen that flows into the dining area and living room complete with satellite and cable TV and gas fireplace. Rest up from a day of enjoying the great outdoors in one of the three comfortable bedrooms or in a chair on the large deck overlooking the river. The cabin also features wood flooring and trim, and tile floors in the modern, fully-furnished bathrooms. Outside, there's a gas grill for grilling hamburgers, a huge open yard and private river access for the vacation of your dreams!

Because of the remote nature of the cabin, internet is provided by a satellite provider. Because of this, video streaming is not possible without severely impacting the data cap for the month. If you stream video, the internet will most likely be cut off during your stay.

PLEASE NOTE: The optional firewood charge of $12/night is for firewood for the outdoor fire pit. (The indoor fireplace at this property is gas.) If you don't think you will use the firewood or would like to bring your own, please let us know! We are more than happy to refund that to you.

Also please note: No parties, events, or gatherings of guests that are not included in the reservation are allowed at Fish Trap.

The base rate includes 5 people. Additional guests are extra, $30 per person per night - please read the itemized charges carefully and make sure to make your reservation for the correct number of guests that will be staying. Thank you!

Pet Fee- $65 per dog ( max 2 dogs) - No Cats

Please take your trash with you. There is dumpster access at the Shenandoah River Outfitters (less than a mile from the property). The house manager can take them for a tip of $5 per bag, if you would prefer.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
