Description
MINIMUM STAY: We have a 1 week (7 nights) rental policy, so the weekly rate applies even for shorter stays if the apartment is available for 1 full week. We can only prorate the nights if the apartment is available for fewer nights between other bookings, for last minute requests and for the low season.
This charming completely renovated two bedroom apartment is situated directly on the gardens of the famous Palais Royal and just a stone's throw from the Louvre.
The apartment is an ideal spot for a family, two couples, or simply friends traveling together who want to experience living like a "real" Parisian. The beautiful gardens outside your doors are perfect for children to play in and adults to stroll in.
The apartment has its own private entryway from the narrow street and also from the gardens. The flat is on three levels. The entryway and living room are on the ground floor. There are two cozy and small bedrooms and one full bath on the second floor and the kitchen and half bath (toilet, sink) are below the ground floor.
PLEASE NOTE that there are stairways leading from the entryway to the bedrooms and from the living room to the kitchen. They are fairly narrow and could pose a problem for someone elderly or someone who has trouble walking.
The apartment can sleep four adults. The living room has high ceilings and lovely floor to ceiling French windows that open onto the gardens and shops of Palais Royal. Next door to the apartment is a restaurant where you can sit out under the arches in summer and enjoy lunch or dinner. The restaurant closes at 11pm, but you will hear it before this if your windows are open.
It is appointed with a mix of antiques, cozy chairs, a dining table and a beautiful couch. There is color cable TV and a telephone. There is a queen sized bed in one bedroom, and a double in the other, and both bedrooms have built-in closets. We provide fans for all rooms as the apartment is not air conditioned.
One bedroom has a view of the Palais Royal Gardens, and the other overlooks rue Montpensier. The all marble modern bathroom has an American shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washer, dryer, oven, microwave and all necessary cooking appliances.
The combination of antiques, French windows and stylish renovations create old-world charm with modern comforts. Settle in, relax and enjoy your stay in this romantic city.
