Located just off the N25 which links Cork City to Waterford and Rosslare Harbour, this is an ideal base to explore the entire South and South East. Day trips to Cork City, Waterford City, Lismore and Dungarvan are recommended. Youghal is a designated heritage town and the medieval walls still survive today. Deep-sea angling, shore angling, sailing and golf are all available around Youghal.

This tour will take approximately one hour and commences from the Heritage Centre in the Tourist Office, in the old Market House, Youghal. This very building was built on reclaimed land on the site of the medieval harbour. You will be introduced to the wonderful and historic story of Youghal, and from here this trail will take you to see important landmarks in that magical story!
