Located at the foot of the El Yunque Rainforest, this beach house is in the most desirable area of Puerto Rico. The house is on the northeast side of the island, is bordered by a 1,000-acre mangrove forest preserve, and is on a secluded beach between two of the best resorts on the island, the Wyndham Reo Mar and the Hyatte Grand Reserve Resort. It is on one of the 12 Fincas (Farms) on the Las Picuas road, which were protected from commercial development and boast a quiet and secluded beachfront. The beach is calm and beautiful, ideal for paddle boards, kyacks, fishing, kite sailing, and more. It is shaded by palms and is a great place to hang out and picnic.

The house was originally built by a pool designer and has spectacular, resort-like outdoor areas. Tropical gardens and palm trees surround the private pool, huge in-ground hot tub/jacuzzi, bathhouse, tiki bar with pizza oven, outdoor kitchen, and BBQ area.

The house was just renovated with 3 Bedrooms and two baths. It has two levels with kitchens and baths on both levels. A huge patio encourages the enjoyment of the tropical scenery. It is air-conditioned and has the latest technology, including satellite TV, high speed internet with wifi and ethernet connections, and USB outlets. Sleeps 8.

It is minutes from Puerto Rico's best attractions, including paddleboard lessons, golf, zip lining, horseback, hiking, bio bay tours, ATVs, and more. Enjoy fine dining at four very close resorts or experience the adventure of the Kioscos, a row of 30-40 local restaurants 3 miles away by Luquillo beach. Golf

There is little or no public transportation in the area, so a rental car is necessary. Uber is available in the area, but there are not many drivers, so car availability is not terribly reliable.

House rules

1. The ocean breeze is great and the house doors facing the ocean are made to be open to enjoy the outdoors. Please close the doors and windows before turning on the air conditioning.
2. The jacuzzi is fabulous. Please read the house manual for how to use it. Please turn off the circulation AND the air jets after you are done.
3. The neighborhood is quiet and safe but is still is a good idea to close the gates at night, including those to the beach.
