Description
New to the market. A piece of heaven on the side of a hill with views to die for. Two bedrooms with beds for 7 people. As well as a cot bed and two extra double air-mattresses, both on request if a larger group. Only up the hill from both Baltimore and the famous Lough Hyne Nature Reserve a beautiful walk away . A short boat trip to both Cape Clear and Sherkin Islands. A great base for seeing all West Cork on both land and sea. Everyone comes back. :)

“Dirty place, not uptodate with current comfort levels, nice surroundings”
The house was dirty, smelling, dog's hair and spider webs everywhere. There are broken, useless things and clutter in the cupboards, in the living room, in the side room where you can keep a dog. The lamps are full of dust, the couches are smelly and old, same for the carpet. The gas stove is old and dangerous, it has no security. We tried to use a bowl that was on the cupboard, it was just sticking to it. Walls are dirty. Upstairs a lot of dust as well, less clutter. The children matrasses are not good. The glass waste of the previous guests is outside just next to the house. They have three lovely dogs but their 'waste' is left everywhere. We complained and we got the deal to clean ourselves, which we preferred, we got 100€ and 2 bottles of wine. But after hovering twice it was clear there was just no beginning as it was clear it has not been maintained and cleaned thoroughly since long. We just do not understand they got such a high score. It must have been nice at the beginning but it needs a major upgrade which we also told the hosts. It is so that the surroundings are nice and the hosts are friendly. If you have dogs and you do not mind that the house is stuffy and smelling of dogs, it's the place to go. We decided to leave when we found somewhere else to stay.We were at another location in Ireland the week before and we paid 200€ less and it was spotless.

Response from the owner I’m so sorry to hear about your stay. It’s funny how all summer everyone is happy and giving 5 star reviews and suddenly you come along and find problems no one else has. But I had a feeling when we talked nothing would make you happy. That’s why I offered you a full refund the day you arrived and you turned me down. I had a look in line that day and there were 7 other places in Baltimore you could have moved too. You were just the type of people looking for a free holiday. If you look on all sites we get 5 star reviews?? But I guess they are all wrong !!! Haha. Maybe you’d be better off staying in a 5 star hotel. Or at home!!

“Wonderful stay”
