Peacefully situated amid 256 acres of rolling woodland hills, and boasting all the character of a distinguished manor house, The Historic Powhatan Resort captures the essence of its Colonial surroundings. Sumptuous, spacious accommodations offer a private balcony, loft and hot tub. Originally built circa 1735, this restored manor house offers a serene getaway during any season.

With activities to entertain the entire family, The Historic Powhatan Resort offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis, an outdoor pavilion and a playground. Dine in The Powhatan Bar and Grille, or enjoy our new coffee house, The Historic Grounds.

“Fantastic resort”

We had a wonderful holiday at the historic Powhattan Resort. The apartment was top notch and the facilities on site were amazing. We enjoyed the pools, tennis, crazy golf and volleyball in particular. The resort was quiet at night and felt safe. I would highly recommend this resort.
