This lovely terraced cottage is in the village of Gatehouse of Fleet in Dumfries and Galloway and sleeps five people in three bedrooms.Dermot Cottage is a lovely terraced cottage in the village of Gatehouse of Fleet in Dumfries and Galloway. The cottage can sleep five people in three bedrooms, made up of a king-size double, a twin and a single with a family shower room. The cottage also contains a kitchen with dining area, utility, sitting room with woodburning stove and a conservatory. To the outside of the cottage is roadside parking and an enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. Located in stunning countryside, Dermot Cottage is a lovely cottage suitable for a great holiday any time of the year. the neighbouring property is having extension built, the work is taking place on weekdays only, just to make you aware ahead of your stay.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britains best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
Town: Gatehouse of Fleet lies on the Solway Firth, in the midst of Dumfries & Galloway, with good sandy beaches a five-minute drive away. The Mill on the Fleet tells the tale of Gatehouses cotton-spinning days. Today, there are several shops in the town including a small supermarket, bank and Post Office, along with two book/gift shops, and two cafes. All four pubs in the town have restaurant facilities and welcome children.
