The space
The house of 87 square meters, is made entirely of stone. The walls have a thickness of 50 cm and that makes it robust and insulated. The windows are fitted with energy Glass (Low-e) Energy saving 4 Sun Energy seasons. Set in a traditional yet contemporary environment you will enjoy the magic of nature and tranquility of a village. Probably would wake up by the birds that have made nests outside the house, or by the sound of goats and sheep are in adjacent fields. The morning sun will fill the batteries of autonomous home energy while the solar water heater will heat the water for a swim. The comfortable leather couches in the living room will help you relax and enjoy the Greek television program, which is mounted above the fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with 2 meters fridge with large freezer. It includes gas stove, and everything you need to cook. cookware dishes, glasses, forks and knives. Mugs pitchers coffee and ice for your cool drinks. Meals can be enjoyed or large traditional dining room or outside under the pergola overlooking the view of the mountains.
The bathroom has a shower cabin and plenty of hot water. Both bedrooms have separate windows overlooking the garden.
Guest access
You will have access to a large courtyard and around the fenced area of the villa is 1500 square meters. The nearest house is 200 meters away and everyone in the neighborhood is Greek.
Interaction with guests
We will be available to help at any time that you need. The Cretan hospitality is particularly developed in the villages of the island and you will feel it too.
The neighborhood
The absolute quiet and picturesque village makes this place special.
In our neighborhood , less than 5 km will find the entrance of the Diktamos Gorge. Gorge Diktamos starts from the village Katochori Cydonia near Kerameia and ends at the village Gorge Village Apokoronas Stylos.
Located at an altitude of 300 meters, refraining 21 km from Chania and the crossing lasts from 3-4 hours minimum.
The striking feature of Diktamos that sets it apart from other gorges of Chania on Crete is that the direction is from north to south as usual, but from east to west, that goes parallel to the coast of Crete.
Another gorge with the same orientation is that of Ha in Lassithi, which is very steep and the most inaccessible in Crete.
For the most part it is full of plane trees and oleanders and after the half-way pop impressive vertical slopes of the gorge causing awe and admiration the hiker.
Gorge Diktamos alternatively called Katochoriano or Stylos, the names of the villages linking.
It is very well marked with red spray on the stones that accurately indicates the direction to follow, so there is no risk of someone lost.
Crossing requires 3-4 hours at normal walking pace average person and the degree of difficulty touching the two, although it has some difficult passages that need attention.
It owes its name to the Cretan herb herb burning bush or erontas, but which grows on the steep vertical slopes, so to quit must climb.

Getting around
Our village is sparsely populated and public transport does not reach here. It is necessary to know the other beauties of Chania, rent a car.
Other things to note
At a distance of 1,4 km you will find the nearest mini market. A little further to 1,5 km there is a grocery store open . Mrs. Stella promithefsei you with vegetables , fruits directly from her fields . Also you can buy honey and fresh daily eggs . All at very low prices.
Located 15 km will find large super market as Lidl & Carrefour.
