Description

Glenoir Holiday Home is a three bedroom town house 10 mins walk from Ennis Town centre with its shops, restaurants and vibrant pub scene. it is a 15 minute walk from Cois na hAbhna, the Irish cultural centre with its music and dance evenings. For golfing enthusiasts there is Ennis Golf Club and also the lovely Golf course at Dromoland Castle . North of the county town is the magnificent Burren area with its unusual flora an fauna and its karst landscape. Drive a few miles west and you reach the Atlantic Coast with its stunning beaches and the famous Cliffs of Moher. Why not take a short boat ride and visit the Aran Islands, or take one of the 'dolphin-watch' boats. Galway and Limerick are also within easy reach of Ennis. Shannon Airport is only 20 min drive away.

Getting around

Ennis town is accessible on foot as the house is near the centre. The bus and train station are 1.7km away and one can take local buses e.g. to West Clare , or the national service to Dublin, Cork Galway etc It is also possible to hire a bicycle in town. A car is useful for visiting the many sights throughout the county.

Interaction with guest

I will be there to meet my guests and show them the house. Naturally I will offer advice if visitors need it. Most tourists arrive with a holiday plan but I am always willing to offer an opinion or advice if asked.
