FAMILY REUNIONS AND LARGE GROUPS LOVE OUR HOUSE. PET FRIENDLY/KID FRIENDLY. NEW HEATED 80 DEGREE SWIMING POOL. We know you have questions so we respond to inquiries within an hour and usually within 10 minutes. Gourmet Kitchen described by a recent guest as a chef's dream. FISHING DOCK with small 12 foot boat, canoes, dinghy, and some old poles. Deep water access. Boat launch 5 minutes from house. We have operated for 7 years an have hundreds of five star reviews especially from families, fisherman, and golfers. Kitchen completely EQUIPPED INCLUDING CONDIMENTS AND SPICES. Large selection of pots, pans, appliances, crock pots, blender, mixer, waffle iron, food processor, rice cooker, six burner stove with griddle and grill, Kurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee, paper towels, baggies, and trash bags. Outside we have a large Gas Grill and a Large Big Green Egg Ceramic Cooker with propane and charcoal provided. Ping pong, basketball goal, horseshoes. Crab pot with propane burner. Outdoor fire pit with smore's forks. Eight person Outdoor Hot tub. Eight minutes to the beach.. Beach chairs, beach tents, & umbrellas, towels available to take to the beach. We will reduce minimums night stays during the week and last minutes for vacancies. Tell us what you are planning and make us a last minute offer. 5 bedroom, 4 1/2 baths, spacious home on 2.8 acres. Quiet and peaceful overlooking the Wolf River. Quick deep water access to the Gulf. Sleeps 18 to 25. Spacious great room open to awesome kitchen. Two canoes, a dinghy, AND A 12 FOOT FISHING BOAT with paddles and life jackets. Two fire places. Back yard fire pit. Home is ideal for family reunions, golf outings, fishing outings, and business gatherings. Outdoor dog kennel. (No vicious dogs please). No pet deposit. . We are actually listed on four sites and it is hard to keep the pricing up on all sites. This is one of the only homes we saw in the entire area that is ground level and not up on stilts. I can't explain how valuable it was to our family to have her able to participate in every activity indoors and out! The accommodations were bordering on luxurious. Due to the small size of our group, everyone had plenty of space in this very large home. We spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying the property. The hot tub was used every evening as was the fire pit for smores. Days and nights were spent fishing and crabbing off the dock. The dock is a very substantial dock with several chairs and a covered bench swing. Fishing was excellent, especially when the tide was moving,. During outgoing tides we caught freshwater fish including loads of bluegill, catfish and gar and during incoming tides we caught a mix of redfish, croakers and even sheepshead. We caught a lot of crab in the traps, unfortunately they were mostly undersized. A small alligator frequented the water in the little inlet in front of dock. He was easy to spot and get photos of as long as you approached the dock quietly. Meals were a pleasure to cook, either in the very well appointed kitchen or on either the gas grill or the green egg just off the back deck (which runs the entire length of the home). Many hours were spent relaxing on the deck with a book , by Grandma, while watching outdoor activities take place. The kitchen had all of the necessities and then some, we brought staples and ended up leaving them unopened because the pantry was so well stocked.

Response from the owner This review is as a result of a partial loss of a damage deposit. The $200 damage deposit is clearly stated in our listing. When your kids spill ink on the carpet, stain the carpet in that same room in two other places, and cut up our Monopoly game and leave the scissors and the cut up pieces in plain sight, we FAIRLY charge for damages the exact amount we spent to replace two games and have the carpet steamed cleaned. As far as a plumbing problem we are aware that when you put 25 people in one house, a toilet may get clogged up. As a matter of fact, we have a commercial toilet auger in the garage which they used to unclog the toilet and which we would have come over and done for them on ten minutes notice if we had been notified. . As for the dock (spelled doc) lights, we told the guest they come on automatically which they do. Someone had turned the switch on the dock off. If they had called and asked we would have told them to check the switch on which in fact fixed the problem immediately. These people loved the house and they thanked us over and over when they left and told us how great everything was. This review was written after we told them we were billing for the damages.
