Description

Charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage on Loon Lake can also be rented with Tarry-A-While situated right next to it.

There is a fully applianced kitchen but no dishwasher and the floor plan has an open kitchen, dining and living area. Living area has futon sofa, chairs in front of fireplace and work table for engaging in work or leisure pleasures.

Downstairs bedroom with queen size bed and full bath. Upstairs has two queen size beds, skylights and bathroom with shower. All linens, blankets and towels provided.

There is a large corner fireplace with plenty of firewood available. A large charcoal grill is available for guest use off the porch.

Open porch has four rockers, small tables and table for relaxing or dining.

Wooded path to private dock with canoe and kayak. Water is deep off the dock and entry is by ladder.

NO smoking anything/anywhere on the property.

Owning another property at the lake, I am often in the vicinity when guests arrive. If not, guests are informed beforehand as to where to pick up the keys. Whether there or not, guests have my mobile number if they need to reach me, and I also provide the name/number of the local caretakers in case there are any issues that need to be addressed.

Loon Lake is a special place. Although we encourage everyone to have fun outside, especially during the day, in the evenings it tends to be rather quiet so people can enjoy the solitude, listen to the loons etc. We ask that guests take this into account when planning activities during quieter times of the day. This includes not playing music so that others can hear it.

Response from the owner One would never know that there were five adults in the cottage. They were meticulous in how they left the place upon departure. Even the Weber grill was ready for the next guests. Nothing was out of place, yet it was wonderful knowing that they had a great time enjoying all that was available to them. I hope they will return in coming years. To have a group that truly appreciates your effort in creating a special place, and treats it as their own, should make any host thrilled to welcome them.
