Description
Stunning, large, family friendly, dog friendly Farmhouse, set at the heart of a Scottish berry, cattle and arable farm, 2 miles from Dundee. In a rural location but with easy access to Perthshire, Angus and Tayside. We are only 15 miles to Perth or 20 miles to St Andrews. We can accommodate a maximum of 8 adults plus 2 kids (enquire if you have more adults-we can provide sofa bed linen for £20). We have 2 Master King bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms - one is downstairs, a twin room with double beds, a twin with single beds and toyroom/double sofa bed (Sofa bed linen must be used. Costs £20, please request at time of booking), family bathroom with shower, roll top bath and twin basins, and 2 further toilets downstairs. Fully fitted kitchen, well equipped with large farmhouse table (seats 8) and a breakfast bar seats 3, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. Living room with wood burning stove (logs and kindling provided), wall hung TV with Sky TV Multiroom. Toyroom/double sofa bed room with Sky TV mulitroom, large selction of DVDs, books and games. Large enclosed garden with patio area, swing set, fenced sandpit and ping pong/games shed, ideal for kids and dogs. Plenty of outdoor seating and BBQ area (BBQ provided). Private car park for up to 4 cars with ramp for wheelchairs and buggies. We are dog friendly - Bring up to 3 well behaved, housetrained dogs on holiday with you (cost extra, £25/dog per stay.Please request at time of booking) - special dog room in farmhouse and secure outside run, dog beds and dog towels provided. We can provide up to 2 cots and 2 highchairs (£15 per cot and highchair, please request at time of booking). Electricity, high quality linen and towels, Sky TV Multiroom, Wifi, logs, kindling and small starter pack included in price. Plenty of fantastic walks from the doorstep and in the surrounding area. The nearest shop is the Longforgan Village shop and Post Office which is only a mile away and has all the essentials. There are many supermarkets within a few miles. We are in a rural setting but only a few miles from Dundee which has much to offer and is a very exciting city with the opening of the Dundee V&A Museum planned for September this year. Only a 20 min drive to Perth. We have 3 championship golf courses, all within an hour's drive or less, St Andrews, Gleneagles and Carnoustie. Ideal for families, groups of friends or golfers. Sorry we do not allow parties.

“Long Weekend”
Super location and accommodation. House was spacious and spotless. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious! Great kitchen which was very well equipped. Wonderful garden and grounds, perfect freedom for kids. We would not hesitate to come back (I would have happily moved in!) Thank you
