Description

Cothi view is a dog friendly detached stone cottage with beautiful views of the river Cothi , with a large lounge and impressive fireplace wooden beams and sash windows. At the rear of the property is a gravelled patio area with garden furniture and swing ball , and to the front of the property is a pretty lawned private garden area with mature trees, shrubs and a bench to sit back and listen to the beautiful wildlife and views of the river. Nearby in the village of llansawel there are two pubs , village hall. 9 miles away is the attractive town of LLandeilo with boutique shops, cafes, weekly markets, post office and banks. Nearby are Carreg Cennen castle, Dinefwr park with the famous white cattle, aberglasney gardens, botanic gardens with its famous glasshouse

“A quiet, pet and family friendly cosy cottage...a home from home.”

Cothi View is located on old manor house estate, surrounded by trees and has Cothi river running through it. The cottage is cosy and welcoming, with all the needed household appliances for a comfortable stay and has lovely views across the estate from the back garden, which is completely fenced so no escaping dogs! A car is a must as the country lanes are quite narrow with no pavements, so walking during busier periods of the year would not be advisable. There are lots of places to visit, Talley Abbey and the National Trust Dolaucothi goldmine are a 10 minute drive away, then beaches about an hours drive are Tenby, New Quay (which has boat trips to see the dolphins and an amazing ice cream parlour!!)and Aberystwyth. Just a few minutes drive into Llansewel and you'll find to pubs that do food. Super correspondence from booking to arrival from the owner Michelle.

“Beautiful cottage with breath taking views and amazing people”

We had a really nice 2 nights at the cottage which is not enough as there so many places to visit and activities for the kids. The location is remote, a little piece of heaven. The cottage is spacious and very clean. I would highly recommend this place if you want to explore along with your children the beautiful countryside and wildlife. Thank you

“Pet friendly remote heaven”

We had a really nice 5 days at the cottage. The location is remote and is perfect for long walks in the Welsh countryside. The cottage is spacious and very clean and we were really pleased as it offered superb value for money. Highly recommended if you are looking for a base to explore the beautiful countryside.

How do damage deposits work?
