Response from the manager Good Afternoon walkthehills, Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay at Wagtail Cottage and I am sorry to hear your stay was not as expected. I cannot see you have contacted us at any point to raise the issues you have highlighted other than completing our standard feedback form which is passed on to our owners so they can act upon any issues raised; had we been aware of these issues during your stay, we would have looked to have rectified this for you immediately, we do not want any of our customers cleaning the property they have rented. Owner details may not always be within the property which is why we include our contact details in all our booking confirmations to customers and are available 7days a week 24hrs a day to discuss any problems you may encounter during your stay. To reassure you, since your stay, the owner has improved the cleanliness standards and has also tended to the garden; hot tubs are maintained after every booking for health and safety reasons. Once again, thank you for taking the time out to let us know your thoughts, customer feedback is extremely important in order for us to continually improve our standards. Kind regards, Becki at Sykes Cottages.
