Description

Bayfront condo next to the convention center. We provide everything, we're as convenient as a hotel, but with all the space & privacy of a home. Open all year. 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Sleeps up to 6.

If you are even mildly interested, please inquire. I'm Laura and I'm happy to provide an exact quote, more info and answer any questions.

Our balcony overlooks the wetlands and the Hampton Inn outdoor pool. At night the Rte 90 bridge in the distance is beautiful.

We are a comfortable & private home. The master bedroom has a king bed and the 2nd bedroom has a full over full bunk bed with a twin trundle. There is a full size leather sleep sofa bed in the front room.

We offer free wifi and the "Premier" Direct TV channels, that means every channel they offer. We have 3 flat screen TVs.

The inlaid dining table seats 4 with 3 more at the bar. We have a fully equipped kitchen. We have a stackable washer & dryer in the master bathroom. There are 2 parking spots that come with the condo, unassigned.

We offer hotel-like convenience, so you are truly on vacation with us. Nobody does this like we do. We provide high quality 100% cotton sheets and the beds are freshly made before you arrive. We provide nice bath towels. And we provide all household items; toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, detergents of every kind, dryer sheets etc. Our home is always clean and well-stocked.

We do not supply beach towels, personal toiletries (shampoo, lotion)...or swim suits. :) So please bring those. We do not have a daily maid.

The Makai condominium building has amenities galore, including an indoor pool, billiards room, gym, sauna, large public area, outdoor shower.

The Makai is in a great location. The island is very narrow here and the beach is just across the street. We are walking distance to Seacrets for night club excitement, no driving. New Tap House in the shopping mall a block away, with bayside restaurant & bar. Best crab house is across the street. Dough Roller & Ritas right next door, and the Convention Center next to that. The bus to the boardwalk stops right outside the door.

We're open all year round, so please come visit us any time. When you stay with us you stay with friends!

Getting around

It is customary to have a car, since that is the easiest way to get to Ocean City. But you can get by without one once you are situated, depending on what your interests are. There are several restaurants nearby, within walking distance. The city bus is inexpensive and runs frequently, so getting around town is easy. There is a boardwalk tram that runs down the boardwalk.

Interaction with guest

About 10 days prior to your arrival, I will email you your welcome packet. It will contain everything you need for your vacation, including a map. Our doors are punch code operated and you will be provided building & condo door codes. The condo door code is set for your arrival day & time and works until your departure day & time. All of my contact information is provided, and I am always available if you have questions or issues. Additionally I am in Ocean City on Fridays in the summer, and can be onsite if necessary. Otherwise your privacy is respected.

How do damage deposits work?
