A detached cottage near Rhayader in mid Wales that can sleep two people in one bedroom.The Stable is a detached cottage set on the owners' farm, 4.5 miles from Rhayader in mid Wales. The cottage has a double bedroom with an en-suite, and can sleep two people. The cottage also comes with an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside the cottage has off road parking for one car and a rear garden with a patio, lawn and furniture. The Stable is a charming cottage in a delightful location, with plenty of attractions and places to visit nearby.
Amenities: Electric storage heater and electric panel heater with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Rear enclosed garden with patio, lawn and furniture. One small well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 4.5 miles. Note: WiFi is suitable for browsing only, not downloading or streaming. Note: Low beams into bedroom and shower room. Note: Babes-in-arms only due to open stairs. Note: Due to the nature of this property it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Town: Rhayader is a town with a selection of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants, amenities and boutiques, including local antiques. There is also a leisure centre with a large swimming pool and a weekly livestock market. The Red Kite Feeding Station is a great attraction not to be missed. Rhayader is the first town on the River Wye and is home to the dams and reservoirs of the Elan and Claerwen Valleys. The Elan Valley offers a variety of walks and cycle trails, as well as a visitors centre with café and children's play area. This area is known as the Wildlife Centre of Wales, with its range of nature reserves open for visitors to enjoy. There is also pony trekking available in the area. Visit Builth Wells, where the Spring Festival, Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and Winter Fair are all held annually. Alternatively, a scenic drive will take you to the Welsh coast 34 miles away.
