Description

Welcome to Eagle's Nest, a purpose-built vacation rental cabin. It's near our Tree Top, Fish Trap and Green Castle cabins and, like them, is also river-front, sitting up high above the river with an area to walk down to the river's edge. It's part of an 18-acre "fish trap" location that was used by ancient American Indians hundreds of years ago.

Eagle's Nest is a large beautiful property with a modern beautiful exterior and interior. Hardwood floors, stainless appliances, flat-screen TVs - everything is new, luxurious and waiting for your personal enjoyment. The pictures capture some of the beauty, modern design, nature, and open spaces. Take a look at those and drink it all in!

In terms of size, Eagle's Nest can fit larger groups of 10 but would also work for a couple or small family. There are three (3) bedrooms and two (2) full bathrooms. The third bedroom is the large loft area you see in the living room pictures. There is a queen and two twin beds in that loft area. The main two bedrooms both have queen beds.

Because of the remote nature of the cabin, the internet is provided by a satellite provider. Because of this, video streaming is not possible without severely impacting the data cap for the month. If you stream video, the internet will most likely be cut off during your stay.

PLEASE NOTE: The optional firewood charge of $12/night is for firewood for the outdoor fire pit. (The indoor fireplace at this property is gas.) If you don't think you will use the firewood or would like to bring your own, please let us know! We are more than happy to refund that to you.

Also NOTE: No parties, events, or gatherings of guests that are not included in the reservation are allowed at Eagle's Nest.

The base rate includes 5 people. Additional guests are extra $30 per person per night, please read the itemized charges carefully and make sure to make your reservation for the correct number of guests that will be staying. Thank you!

Alternatively, housekeeping can remove it for you for a tip of $5 per bag.

Response from the manager Hello Ghazal. I truly apologize for your experience at Eagle's Nest! That is not the standard experience that I hear. I did speak with the house manager about the hot tub and they did inform me that they used the well water for the refill during your stay. We have been using the city water- driving the water in to refill the hot tub. I am truly sorry about that. I have informed my maintenance team to take a look at the dishwasher and the TV outside, again I am sorry about the inconvenience during your stay. That is not the goal we want for your experience. at Eagle's Nest. I hope you continue to visit the Shenandoah Mountains. -Pilar

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
