Dates available in 2021: Oct 10-14, Nov 15-24. Dec 31-Feb 28. Great dates available in early Spring 2022: March 12-20/March 27-April 24/April 26-May 1 and limited open dates in May-August 2022.. Light-filled, very private, self-contained 2nd story detached guest house. Wonderful view among the trees on the hillside overlooking Anchorage. Fully and beautifully furnished with great kitchen, separate dining area, laundry with washer and dryer, walk in closet in master bedroom, lots of storage and parking in garage if needed.We have the most delicious icy cold well water. Trail head for Chugach National Park is a short half a mile walk and Hilltop Ski Area is less than 4 miles away. We have the Alaska Zoo 2 miles down the mountain. Anchorage Golf Course is 2 miles away and there is a riding stable with horse rentals nearby. Short drives will take you into South Anchorage, midtown or downtown loaded with restaurants, nightlife and shopping. Drive south and you're in Girdwood in 20 minutes or less to visit and sightsee at Mt. Alyeska and one of the most scenic drives in the world, along Cook Inlet via the New Seward Highway. Travel north, and you're headed into Matanuska Valley, a scenic and rich farming area with unbelievable mountain views. Keep going and you'll be on your to Denali National Park and Fairbanks. There is a breathtaking vista around every corner. We have a wooded setting with abundant wildlife passing by including moose and bear. Quiet and peaceful, away from the hum of traffic and congestion. Consider a trip to Alaska in the fall & winter when airfare is more reasonable & you'll be far from the crowds. Superb winter sports, snowy vistas, wonderful photo ops. We have our wonderful winter festival Fur Rendezvous in February & the legendary Iditarod, The Last Great Race on Earth. Experience the Alaska Native Convention in the early spring. We have many running & skiing events & don't forget the fishing and hiking trails. We'd love to meet you.

Great place!...the guest house is private, very clean, stylish and spacious...stocked with all your needs...the location is only about 20-25 from the airport and downtown Anchorage...easily accessible… More

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Donna took such good care of us. Put this on the top of your list. Beautiful view, cozy bedrooms, lovely kitchen and fireplace.

How do damage deposits work?
