Ocean Front beach House in the Dominican Republic with air conditioning in the 3 main bedrooms
This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa on the ocean, is located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic in a gated, secure residential seaside village called Costambar. Ten minutes outside Puerto Plata, Costambar boasts a beautiful mile-long crescent beach. The shoreline is fully protected by a living coral reef, which makes the gentle tide, warm, azure water and shallow surf zone safe for playing, swimming and snorkeling. The master suite with a king bed has a panoramic ocean view and private bathroom. Downstairs is a queen bedroom with an ocean view and a twin bedroom off the side courtyard. Although we have wonderful ocean breezes all year long, the three major bedrooms have air conditioning. There is a full bathroom between them. There is also a bathroom off the spacious, full kitchen. A dining foyer and living room complete the house. There is a covered patio with table and chairs, a tropical backyard with lounge chairs providing full views of the ocean, and a short stucco wall before you reach a narrow public foot path and the open ocean. our Our house is on a small private portion of the mile long beach, The maint beach is a five minute stroll and has friendly beach dining, including fresh seafood, and lounge chair rentals. Costambar has several restaurants within walking distance of the house, and there are many more only a short drive away. There is also a market within walking distance. World famous Sosua beach is a 20 minute drive, and Cabarete, famous for wind surfing, is a 40 minute drive. Cable TV, 24/7 electric and water are included. Puerto Plata Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by car. This house is available for up to 6 people.

Although we do have wonderful breezes off of the ocean, this year we did install air conditioners in all bedrooms for the very few times when the humidity is high. As you pointed out, the breezes really allow for comfort all year round. My staff, both Isidro and Maria-Elena have been with me for many years and they take great pride in providing excellent services to our clients. My staff and I work very hard to insure that our clients are comfortable in our home and that they enjoy their vacation. Although Costambar provides all the amenities of a resort without the hassle of crowded hotels and "touristy" areas we recommend that our clients see the nearby areas of the North coast. We provide recommended day trips and we can arrange for transportation or you can rent a car. I am looking forward to renting to yu in the near future
