The Beach Pad is a 5-star rated, multi-unit vacation rental in the heart of Puntas, in Rincón, Puerto Rico. Enjoy spacious, modern and sparkling clean accommodations only steps away from Sandy and Pools beach, restaurants, and bars. Great for groups and families, this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house has a full kitchen, living area, enclosed patio with hammocks, a private yard with outdoor loungers, a picnic table, and BBQ grill.

The Surf House is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on the first floor of The Beach Pad. Perfect for groups and families, this home comes with a private gated yard, outdoor grill and shower, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the breezy enclosed marquesina (patio area), with two hammocks. Birds will serenade you in the morning and coquis will greet you every night! The rooftop deck has views of the waves at Sandy Beach and the surrounding dense, lush greenery.

The Beach Pad is the only property in the Sandy Beach area that has solar and a commercial grade generator, 2 backup sources of power, in an effort to ensure our guests’ comfort during the frequent power outages in Puntas.

COVID Update: Those visiting Puerto Rico should review the local measures in place, developed by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), such as social distancing, mandatory face coverings in public areas, and mandates for businesses. Travelers entering the island may have to provide the following forms upon arrival: a Travel Declaration Form, a vaccination card, or negative PCR molecular or antigen COVID-19 test results.

We have always been committed to providing the highest standard of cleanliness at The Beach Pad. During this pandemic, we have implemented an even more stringent cleaning protocol, above and beyond CDC recommendations, created by our owner who has more than 20 years of experience in occupational health and safety. Our new cleaning protocol includes, but is not limited to: masks worn by cleaning staff, hand sanitizer provided in every room, and additional sterilization of high-touch areas like door knobs and handles. Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests, staff and community.

Noise level warning: The Beach Pad is a 5 unit vacation rental property surrounded by restaurants, shops, and bars in the center of Puntas. It is conveniently located and during high season (Dec-April) and holiday weekends you may hear live bands or DJs until midnight on weekdays and much later on weekends. All other times of the year you will find it to be much quieter. If you are looking for an extremely quiet, away from it all location, this may not be your best choice.

From August through October some restaurants and bars close for the season or have limited hours. There are still plenty of restaurants open year-round and you can always check with us, or your digital guidebook to find out what is open!

If you would like to explore beyond Puntas, renting a car is highly recommended. Interaction with guest

This is a self-catering rental meaning we do not have daily housekeeping services or on-site staff. Keyless entry allows guests to check in and out on their own. We are always available 24/7 by phone, email or text to answer questions and assist in making your vacation in Rincón unforgettable. We also have local staff who do regular walk-throughs of the property and are available to assist you.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Alan & Eileen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
