A gem of a cottage in a coastal setting. With spectacular views over Rough Island and Hestan Island to the Solway Firth, this recently refurbished cottage is an oasis of tranquillity in the beautiful village of Rockcliffe. The local sandy beach is perfect for exploring rock pools and building castles.
The cottage has recently been completely refurbished and updated, with double glazing, central heating and a wood-burning stove providing cosy accommodation throughout the year.
The cottage provides accommodation for 6 people over one floor, comprising of one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a family bathroom including free-standing bath and luxury shower. A further small double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with luxury shower.
The light open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen has spectacular views of the sea. The utility room has an integrated fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washer/drier and this room leads out to a large decked area, also with spectacular views of the coast and wonderful sunsets.
The large front garden is lawned, with shrubs and trees. The rear of the property is landscaped to provide a barbecue area and second large, and sheltered, decked area.
