This timeless, seventeenth century cottage is just a stone's throw from the heart of St Andrews, nestled right beside the famous West Port arch, famous for being the best-preserved city gate in Scotland.
Appropriately named, The Wee House was once the town's public toilets in a previous life, before being transformed into this contemporary, exceptional home. With all its space being remarkably utilised, both bedrooms on the ground floor benefit from an en-suite shower room, and the flexibility to offer super king or twin sleeping arrangements. The entire first floor is occupied by the modern open plan kitchen, living and dining area.
Perfect for groups of golfers and friends, the Wee House is just a short 5-minute walk to The Old Course and Royal and Ancient clubhouse. South Street is located a few steps round the corner, where you will find many of the best local restaurants and cafes.

Response from the manager Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your experience with Kingask was not satisfactory. Linens are in fact supplied but towels are only supplied if added as an extra when you make your booking, some clients prefer to bring their own. We simply run too many properties to be able to meet all the guests at the houses and again this is made clear at the time of booking. The Wee House is one of busiest houses and has had a full occupancy since the beginning of May, this is the only bad review the property has received. The house is situated in the middle of town which everyone finds very convenient but noise from the environment is unavoidable, all the windows in the house are double glazed and the house is well insulated with very thick walls. Shutters are fitted to both bedroom windows and if operated correctly give total privacy to our guests. Once again we apologise that your stay was not as you wished but we have taken your comments on board.

The property is fully double glazed throughout and well insulated, although we agree it is central and next to a main road, we feel every effort has been made to cut down on the noise pollution, although being in the middle of town, this is hard to eradicate completely.
