"Podere Vedi Torre" was renovated in 2009, surrounded by cypresses and pines, olive trees and vineyards. In the house: central heating, washing machine (for private use), tumble dryer (for private use). Access and parking: parking near the house for 6 cars. Access by car throughout the year. Dizzying position on the crest of Casaglia hill, in the Franciscan hamlet Campo Chiarenti, on Via Francigena. In a secluded but easily accessible position, quiet, elevated, and sunny in the countryside. Wonderful view of the property on the Tuscan hills. Large garden and terrace with pavilion, all with complete privacy. Surroundings of the house: swimming pool (private use, length 12m x width 6 m, open from 01. May until 31. October), outdoor shower, garden (for private use, 300 m2),) grounds (for private use) , grill / barbecue (private use). Infrastructure and distances: shops 2 km, restaurant 2 km, golf course 10 km. Please note, nearby: a motorway at 5 km, a main street at 2 km, a railway at 3 km and an airport at 40 km. 7-room detached house for 10 people, 260 m2 on 2 levels, comfortable and old-fashioned. Response from the owner We apologize for the inconvenience for the cancellation for this reservation. We communicated clearly and in time that the central heating of the Villa had a problem. We didn't want to take the risk that house could probably not offer our guests a comfortable temperature. Unfortunately our guest did not read our direct announcement to them and had the impression that we did cancel without any reason. The client did write us later, afte making the comment, that she did read our communication. We felt obliged to cancel the reservation in time in order to follow our obligation to exercise diligence. We hope that the refund of the payment by trip advisor was correct. TripAdvisor is collecting the money form our guests and we hope the TripAdvisor did refund the paid money correctly. For this cancellatione we were obliged to pay TripAdvisor 100 GBP as penalty. Thank you for understanding. We hope to receive you at Vedi Torre by an other occasion and will treat you of course in compensation of our bad experience well. Christoph, owner
