Description
Mill Barn is a detached barn conversion in the rural village of Shiskine. This is the ideal place as a base for golfers, walkers, cyclist & families. The barn has 4 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 king size, 1 single and 1 twin room. There is a wet room with toilet and sink and a shower room with toilet and sink. All this is located on the ground floor with a study room which has a selection of books, dvd's and games for those rainy days. It has a work space for laptops to connect to the free wi-fi. There is also information on the beautiful Island of Arran, places to go, eating out and local attractions. The spacious lounge is overlooking the kitchen. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer so you don't have to go home with a load of dirty washing. The garden is a large child friendly enclosed space. There is parking for 2 cars at the side of the property.
There is a travel cot to which you bring your own child's bedding, a highchair and a stair gate.
There is a picnic bench in the garden, plus garden chairs in the shed.
You can store your bikes etc in a lockable shed.

“Great family holiday cottage”
This property was an ideal place for our family holiday. Facilities were excellent. We especially appreciated the well equipped kitchen with a decent oven plus a utility area with a washer and dryer. Ideal when travelling with young children. The property was well stocked with books, games and information about the area. The garden area was a nice place to enjoy a bbq (disposable one provided). Everywhere on the island is very accessible from this location and there was a good bakery and shops in Blackwaterfoot. Excellent communication from the host. We'd love to stay again.

“Hoe from home”
We had a wonderful stay at Mill Barn. The location was picturesque and private, but close to local amenities. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well-equipped. Ruth, the ever-helpful owner, has managed to create a real home from home, and we look forward to visiting again very soon.

“Great accomodation”
Had a great stay at Mill Barn- plenty of room for a family of 4! Cosy on arrival and immaculately clean- just what you want. Every utensil possible has been provided in the kitchen. Comfy beds. Great location and super communication from owner Ruth.
