What a wonderful place. Clean tidy, well maintained. Was our place of stay for a few days. If we venture back this way, we will definitely book this place again.

“Fantastic stay”
We are just back from a brilliant holiday in Stirling. Wallace’s Rest was a super base. It had everything we required. It’s near the Stirling university, near a lovely park and only 5 minutes drive into the centre of Stirling. There were fab places to eat in nearby Bridge of Allan including the Meadow Park and the Royal Hotel. The owner Lynn was very accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend.

“Better than home from home”
Wallace’s Rest is a lovely place to holiday. Clean, neat and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and the living/kitchen area is ideal for lounging around. The shower in the downstairs toilet is amazing - and the upstairs bathroom is bright and clean. There is a lovely seating area to enjoy alfresco meals - as we did with the very warm weather during our stay. Lynn is an ideal host - easily contactable and very helpful. She provided us with extra seating and crockery to host a meal for visiting family during our stay. The situation is ideal for touring the area - a regular bus into Stirling is just at the end of the lane and other buses are within walking distance. There is a small supermarket nearby with cafes, restaurants and pubs also not far away. One thing to be aware of is the steep access road to the property - take care when driving in and out of the gated parking. We had a great week and would definitely return in the future.
