New premises completed January 2017. Situated in a quiet location on small working farm 1 mile from Stranraer on Southern Uplandway route
This building was originally part of farm buildings. It has a large kitchen/dining/lounge area with a double bedroom and bathroom with separate shower. The bedroom has zip and link beds which can either be made up as singles or a super king size. French doors from lounge on to seating area to rear of property with own private hot tub.
Fantastic area for golfing with Stranraer Golf Course approx 3 miles and Dunskey (Portpatrick) Golf Course approx. 6 miles. The area is also good for cycling, walking and gardens (including Logan Botanic, Castle Kennedy and Glenwhan Gardens).
In Stranraer there is a marina, museum, Castle of St John, shops, restaurants, pubs, leisure centre and cinema.
Attractions in the area include Mull of Galloway, Wigtown Book Town, Whithor Dig and many gardens. Ferries from Cairnryan to Belfast.

“Super place as a base”
Very clean modern cottage on a working farm hosted by a wonderful couple. Plenty of space in the accommodation with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay.

“Fabulous”
We loved our stay at The Bullpen. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hot was fab, the cottage spotless and Anne was welcoming and lovely! Can’t wait to return :)
