Craignethan is a stunning sea side self-catering holiday house set in picturesque Kames. Nestled in a quiet and peaceful location this coastal retreat boasts spectacular sea views, perfect for families or couples wanting to enjoy a relaxed getaway in style and comfort.
Interiors
This beautifully styled bungalow is filled with flair, charm and nautical chic. Bright and spacious Craignethan is nothing but warm and welcoming. The open plan living area features a large living space with picture perfect windows looking out to the sea. With comfortable chairs and sofas to unwind, and a wood burning fire to enjoy. The front doors lead out to a terrace, ideal for summer days soaking up the views. The living room also includes a dining area for family feasts.
The kitchen is modern and very well equipped, complete with electric cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.
The master bedroom is both spacious and bright with fabulous views over the sea. The twin bedroom is also beautifully furnished complete with TV. The family bathroom is complete with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.
Optional Extra
Adjacent to the bungalow in the rear garden there is a converted stable cottage beautifully refurbished with 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a shared family bathroom. Use of the extra bedrooms only applies when pre-booked when more than 4 guests are staying only. Suitable for 4 adults (additional costs apply). Please note, the preferred maximum occupancy is 6 adults and 2 children. (On request basis)
Outside
The grounds itself is a haven for children to play and explore, with large rear and front gardens. . With outdoor furniture enjoy this wonderful area on lazy, sunny afternoons. There is a french boule court in front garden for family competitions.
Craignethan is an ideal base to explore the stunning Cowal Peninsula for walks, fishing and visiting the many surrounding attractions. Or you may simply take time out to enjoy the ambiance of this inviting holiday home.
