Las Brisas # 4 is a spacious and luxurious 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home overlooking the Pacific Ocean only steps from coral and shell strewn sandy beaches and it is walking distance to quaint eateries, shopping, and activity centers of Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Nearest airport is 20 minutes away in Liberia (LIR), and major shopping/restaurants/nightclubs are 10 minutes away in Coco Beach.
Although not necessary, car rental is highly recommended for your convenience, and there are multiple car rentals companies within Liberia airport.
Playa Hermosa Beach is clean and well maintained. Sporting activities are available such as fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving. Also available are Zip-lining, visits to waterfalls, volcanic areas, coffee plantations, and historical parks.

The condo couldn't be better. It is spacious, clean, nicely furnished and very cozy. We loved the grounds they were well manicured the pool was great and the gated community made us feel safe. The owner was great to deal with as was the landlord. The only problem we had was the directions upon arrival but we didn't know which direction we were facing so got lost at night and could not get through to the landlord. I would recommend having a map made up, cause that was a little scary. Once we realized were we were everything was fine. The landlord doesn't speak very good english which was a little difficult but her husband help translate and they gave us great recommendations on things to do.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa in Costa Rica. The gate to the complex is just about 150 yards from pleasant Hermosa Beach, where we could relax, or easily arrange jets ski and snorkeling trips. The villa itself is well-furnished and comfortable, and the sunset views from the master bedroom balcony are hard to beat.

Las Brisas is a beautiful villa, very roomey and in a fantastic location. Close to restaurants, bars, activities and the beach. The beach is one of the best.
Sue, the property manager is fantastic, very helpful, a super lady. Jerry, the taxi driver Sue recommended is awesome, his English and knowledge of the area is great. We took day trips into Playa del Coco, it is very close and has all the amenities you will need, but it is busier and noisier that Play Hermosa. You will have the best of all worlds, if you stay at this villa, rent a car with adobe, tour with Tico Tours and explore this wonderful island. The owner Lydia is a super lady, very easy to deal with.

Renting this Villa for Thanksgiving was a great choice. It is a short 40 minute drive from Liberia airport and the inside and outside is clean and functional. The beach is only a few minutes walking distance and there were monkeys in the trees to entertain us for free. When the sun was too hot, we retreated from the beach to the shaded pool to cool down and made many new friends there. Many quaint restaurants are located along the beach and a grocery store is within easy walking distance. There isn't a lot of night life in Playa Hermosa or beach entertainment (jet skis, kayaks and fishing boats are available), but Playa Coco within 20 minutes driving and offers a wider variety of activities. I would recommend this Villa to families with younger kids or if you just want to kick back and relax.

Luxury accommodations within a few hundred yards of the beach. The house and furnishings were top notch. The nearby beach is clean and quiet. Great for long walks or runs. Beautiful landscapes and sunsets. Lots of nearby activities...fishing, snorkeling, hiking, monkey watching, spas, shopping, horseback riding, and zip-lining! The restaurants along the beach serve good food at reasonable prices. The pool is steps away from the house and is ultra clean and inviting. A great way to escape the afternoon heat. A good option whether you are looking for family friendly or very romantic. Would definitely go back or recommend to friends. You won't be disappointed with this place.

The villa has a great layout and a terrific view from the master bedroom. It's literally a couple of minutes walk from the surf with an open air bar/restaurant at the beach so you can enjoy the view while sipping on a beer or eating dinner. Hermosa is a "local" beach, so there is no tourist traffic or trash. The beach is clean and beautiful. I will definitely go back!

The villa is a short, easy walk to the lovely beach where there are several good restaurant-bars. The villa itself is handsome and spacious. It is extremely clean, newly constructed and in perfect condition. It has all the comforts of a modern home, such as air conditioning, cable TV, Internet, washer-dryer, and a fully-equipped kitchen. We had 5 adults during our stay and still had the sofa-sleeper to spare. If you want to do your own cooking, the grocery store is very a short drive from the villa. The town of Coco is about 15 minutes away and is a nice outing where you can buy local handicrafts and have a good meal.
The Las Brisas property has a fabulous pool, beautiful landscaping, and a 24-hour security guard. It also has on-site recycling, which is a nice touch. The property manager for the villa is a very welcoming and helpful american woman. She scheduled zip-lining and fishing outings and generally helped us navigate the place.
Playa Hermosa is a laid-back, friendly community where many people speak English. The beach is about a mile long and a great place to run or walk in the morning. The beach has numerous restaurants and beautiful places to discover and relax, and watersports for the more adventuresome.
Our visit was in July, which is considered the low season, so the beach was not at all crowded. The high season is November and December when people come from colder climates to escape the winter. But coming from Texas, July was a great time for us. The weekdays are quieter than the weekends when the place livens-up for the Costa Rican families who come to enjoy the beach. Whether you want a quiet get-away or a Costa Rican adventure, this is a good choice!

Your reasons for almost perfect review (but short of a star) is understood:
-that you wanted bottom stair rail for people who need help
-that you found the pool water too warm
We will seriously look into installing a stair rail for our future guests.
As far as the pool water being too warm, may we suggest a swim after the sun has set or early morning? The ocean water stays cool even the hottest part of the day, so perhaps go for an ocean swim during the high sun? We make every effort to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible, but some things are just not within our control.

I really enjoyed my stay at Las Brisas #4. It had all the things I wanted. The finish out was classy and the house was clean and well maintained. There were aC units in each of the bedrooms and the downstairs which kept everyone comfortable. There was also free wifi which was great for communicating back home. 2 of the 3 bedrooms in the house had an ocean view and every wall had a window. The grounds of Las Brisas are beautifully maintained. I was really enjoying the wildlife I could see right out the windows. There were beautiful songbirds and a Coatamundi even walked right across the patio on one of the first nights we were there.
The use of the kitchen was great. I love to cook, so taking advantage of the local fruitstands and fishermen was a real treat. There were plenty of pots and pans for our usage as well as cutlery and a cutting board. We made a whole lot of fruit drinks and breakfast tacos!
Beach access was right across the street (a shorter walk than I make to get my mailbox back at home!) and it was wonderful. The beach was very laid back and picked-up. It was not crowded at all and the view was just fantastic. There are relaxing beachside bars lined up one after the other starting at the beach access which makes for a pretty outstanding barhopping experience if you're into that. I really enjoyed sitting out with my trip-mates, drinking fresh local fruity drinks, and watching the sunset on the water almost every day of the trip.
I would definitely come back and I'll be bringing more friends! -

stayed here for 8 days and I loved every minute of of my girls' vacation! I found the villa to be spacious, clean, and perfect for my trip. The villa has ample room for a number of couples, or for a family, or for a group of friends. The ocean views are stunning, the grounds are beautiful, and the beach is right there! I was pleased that not only were the rooms and bathrooms nice, the air conditioning works amazingly, and there was even WiFi! It was also convenient to have laundry available in the villa. The villa is located nearby to a number of restaurants, bars and a mini-supermarket. I will definitely be returning to this villa for vacation later this year!
