Welcome to Elk Laurel!

Elk Laurel is the first home built in a 14-acre development with beautiful long-range views. Come explore the mountains while you enjoy the luxurious comfort of this elegantly finished log cabin.

This large family home boasts a huge wrap-around deck with a large hot tub, gas grill, and outdoor dining for 12. Enjoy the cool mountain evenings on the deck or sit on the bench surrounding the fire pit to roast marshmallows.

There are multiple areas inside so everyone can enjoy their own space while being together. The main level has an open floor plan with a well-stocked kitchen, a dining area with seating for 8, and a bar for 3. These adjoin the living area with the gas log fireplace and TV. Upstairs you will find a loft with a game table that seats 6 and a PS3 game system with an assortment of family-friendly games. Downstairs boasts a huge game room with a pool table, PS4 game system, a sleeper sofa, and comfortable chairs so you can enjoy the latest sports or movies on the large Smart TV. You will also find board games and books for all ages throughout the house. Do not forget to check out the garage, where you will find the ping pong table.

The 14-acre property is yours to explore. Although you may feel remote, Banner Elk is only 4 miles from the cabin, Valle Crucis is 5 miles away, and Boone is less than 30 minutes. Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain are both within 10 miles. Grandfather Mountain and Linville Falls are also nearby.

Important Information

Elk Laurel is a large family home, and we ask that you respect the total number of occupants allowed. This is NOT a party house. Loud, boisterous events will not be tolerated, as the neighbors will contact the authorities. Thank you for your consideration as noise travels through the mountains easily.

Please Note: A few exterior cameras are monitoring the roadway for security reasons. They do not monitor any living spaces outside.

House Rules:

- Self Check-In with a unique door code or lockbox

- Must Agree to Carolina Cabin Rentals Terms and Conditions (provided upon booking or request)

- Strict Occupancy requirements

- Minimum stays may apply and vary throughout the year

- Options that may be purchased after booking: Travel Insurance, Firewood at $20/day for 2 bundles per night including delivery, Early Check In at 1PM or Late - Check Out at 2PM. Please contact Carolina Cabin Rentals if you wish to include any of these in your stay.

“Excellent Stay”

We really enjoyed our stay, place was just the right size for our group. The pool table, and ping pong table made it fun and exciting. The Hot Tub was great as well.
