“Wonderful place to stay!” This beautiful home is located close to Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and many activities. The large, comfortable bedrooms provide plenty of room to relax after a day of gem mining with the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked with just about any thing you need for a meal if you desire to cook. Bathrooms have numerous toiletries in the cabinets. There was even a hair dryer! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This is the best home rental we have ever had! You will not be disappointed with this home.

“Weekend in Waynesville” 8 members of my family stayed very comfortably in this beautiful home for a 2 day weekend. We where in the Waynesville area to attend a wedding. The home is furnished very nicely with all the amenities you would need to enjoy a good nights sleep as well as for cooking. Plus I believe I counted 4 TV's plenty of games, a beautiful Hot Tub, and it is located in a secluded area with a gate. The views of the mountains all around are gorgeous. Marilyn is very easy to work with and went out of her way to make sure we where cared for. I would certainly recommend this home to anyone visiting the Waynesville/Ashville area. We would stay again

“Amazing Views, Spacious Cabin” The home is even more beautiful than the photos show, the view is beautiful wonderful and the home was very clean. The owner is awesome with communication and the directions/information on finding the home was extra helpful. The drive to the home is steep and a little hard to see at night but it’s manageable even with a minivan loaded with luggage and Christmas gifts. The area is close to Gatlinburg, TN, Cherokee and of course Maggie Valley to go snow skiing. Downtown Waynesville has some cute shops and good restaurants. The home is very spacious and the rooms are all in different areas so it’s nice and private with several couples. There is a picnic table and fire pit area outside and the hot tub was excellent even on those 30 degree nights. Highly recommended, we will be back!!!

“Fabulous Cabin with Great Views” My family and I love this cabin! It is beautifully decorated and has a great layout. My son had the downstairs and my daughter had the upstairs while my wife and I had the main floor. The kitchen and family room are great for hanging out as a family. Also, the kitchen is fully furnished with everything needed. The cabin was very clean and my very picky wife was pleased. The porch was very relaxing and provided awesome views of the mountains. We also enjoyed watching the birds at the feeder. I can't say enough about how great this cabin is and how much we loved it. It is now our preferred cabin when we vacation in this area. Thank you John for letting us stay in your fabulous cabin!

“Relax- you've found your cabin” Just what we needed to get away from it all for a few days. Clean, well furnished cabin that had all the essentials plus some nice extras in case you forgot some things. Truly spectacular setting with outstanding views. Ten minute drive to downtown, with its mix of trendy and traditional shops, restaurants and galleries. John and Judy are friendly and helpful- willing to offer dining suggestions or directions- but never overbearing. Manageable drive to either the mountains or to asheville to expand your visit options. Close to hiking, fishing and other activities, or you can just relax in the hot tub or by the fire and take it all in. The pace is up to you

About Waynesville

With perfect weather year-round, gorgeous mountain scenery, and friendly locals offering true Southern hospitality, the town of Waynesville has it all! Enjoy a cup of coffee while walking along Main Street's tree-lined brick sidewalks or head to Legion Drive for some of the best restaurants in the neighborhood.

Be sure to make time for some of these great activities that Waynesville has to offer:

  • Play Golf: Waynesville is home to several 18-hole public golf courses, providing a fun afternoon of outdoor entertainment for the whole family.
  • Go Hiking: Nearly half of Waynesville is occupied by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, making the area well-suited for hiking and camping expeditions of varying lengths.
  • Harmon Den Wildlife Refuge: Located where the Blue Ridge Parkway meets the Great Smoky Mountains, this not-for-profit refuge is home to dozens of animals that can be viewed and has a rotating calendar of educational exhibits.
  • Take a Drive: Head down the Blue Ridge Parkway for a beautiful afternoon drive as the mountains and ever-changing foliage dominate the landscape.

No matter what time of year you visit, there will likely be something going on in Waynesville. Sample some of the best southern cooking in the region at the Maggie Valley Chili Cook-Off in March, look at tractors that are almost 100 years old at the Antique Tractor Show in June, or celebrate the beginning of fall at the Annual Apple Festival in October.

A vacation rental is the preferred option for those staying in Waynesville. Vacation rentals that cater to all family sizes and budgets are available year round in Waynesville and range from luxury condos to cozy cabins just steps from the mountains.

Great Mountain Getaway

We had a fabulous girls weekend! This place is convenient to everything! Two minutes from downtown Waynesville and 30 minutes to Asheville. It was exactly as discribed and very clean. The Sundowner
Amazingly Perfect

The cabin is open with lots of natural light and breath taking views. It was everything we wanted in a cabin and more. Everything is explained how to operate in the home book they provide in the cabin and the owner Gregory is always a text away if you need anything. We loved everything about the cabin and views! We will definitely go back and already talking about making it our annual family place to relax. You will love this cabin and how great the owners are!see more
Four Seasons
WHAT A VIEW, WHAT A HOUSE!

After spending many nights at the computer searching for a house that would accommodate my husband and I plus our friends and their daughter we finally came across Four Seasons, the perfect mountain getaway. It has 3 bedrooms, one with a king bed and two with queen beds which was a perfect set up for us. The house was beautifully appointed with a wonderful kitchen for cooking most of our meals in and a living area with a big screen television. The furnishings and accessories really added to the ambiance of the Carolina's and as someone with a design background, who puts a lot of value on aesthetics, Four Seasons really made the grade. Now for the best part of this vacation home... a house with a view! The view of the mountains is spectacular! It doesn't get much better than this. From every single room in the house, the mountains greeted you. The covered terrace just off the living and dining room was another great place to enjoy the view. have your morning coffee or relax in after a long day of exploring. Speaking of exploring...Exploring the Carolina's was so easy as Four Seasons, located in Waynesville is in such close proximity to many different cities. Asheville is just a 40 minute or so drive and just a little bit further is Bryson City which has the best choices for white water rafting. The Blue Ridge Mountains are also very close and a lot of hiking and driving can be enjoyed through there. I can't say enough about this awesome mountain home, it really was perfect and I highly recommend it. The owners are very easy to communicate with which also added to our complete experience.see more

Perfect autumn getaway

Not our first visit to this beautiful home, and we hope not our last. The house would be a treat in any setting, and its location only amplifies the enjoyment. John is a friendly and responsive host. Whether you’re headed out for a full day of fresh air or staying in to relax in comfort, you always feel “in the mountains.”see more
