Boone log cabin

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“The perfect trip! Awesome!” Wife and I recently spent our 15th anniversary in "A Mountain Dream"...and, it was a dream, indeed! Cozy, quaint, a true "cabin feel"...beautiful views and plenty of privacy. Terri was more than wonderful to work with...she was patient and understanding with all my questions...she made the entire process extremely easy. We plan on returning this fall! Thank you, Terri! ❤️️TWO ROCK TREEHOUSE ❤️ The mountains are calling you ...

Banner Elk log cabin

2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / sleeps 6

“Beautiful Cabin - We are repeat visitors!” My family and I have stayed at this cabin twice already and plan to return. This cabin is truly special, every detail has been taken care of and the owner alexandra is a pleasure to work with. Her passion alone for her cabin and the mountains are enough to make you want to stay here! First we stayed for Christmas 2010 and made the most beautiful family memories. 6 of us stayed very comfortably, there was room for one more. Everything was very clean, lots of warm blankets throughout the cabin and a lovely fireplace. Alexandra even had a small Christmas tree and ornaments for us to decorate when we arrived on Christmas Eve. Truly a special touch! My husband and I returned in February 2013 for the Valentines day holiday and loved every minute of our stay. We used the kitchen to make breakfast and dinners, visited Grandfather Mountain and a few of the local wineries. This cabin will always have a special place in our hearts and I cannot wait to visit again. Next time I would love to visit in the summer to enjoy the white water rafting and zip-line!

Tranquil Log Cabin with Beautiful Long-Range Views

Banner Elk log cabin

4 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Ski trip in North Carolina” This is a very nice cabin. Walking in, I find it clean and well maintained. The boys (2 teenagers) are pleased to find a foosball table and a ping pong table in the basement. Kitchen: Adequately stocked with cookware. Gas range works well. There are food items already in the fridge and cupboards. The stuff in the fridge is only in the door, so there is space for our stuff. The stuff in the cabinets doesn't leave enough room. We condense the owner's food into fewer cabinets and then we have room for ours. No problem. Bathrooms: Clean. There are only showers on the top floor. The basement bathroom (third bedroom down there) has a tub, but it doesn't drain. It's cold down there, so you better be a hearty soul if you shower in the basement bath in the winter. The shower I used had one of those fancy removable shower handle things. I wish it only had a simple shower head as it sticks too far into the small shower stall. Has to pour water straight down. You are getting your hair wet no matter what. It's a minor annoyance. Living quarters: Hardwood floors, nice couch. Tv is a large CRT. No flat screen. It is in good working order with Dish network. The internet has problems. There is an old NetGear router. I've always seen problems with that brand. My MacBook was too much for it. The red light would keep coming on and I would have to wait for the router fix itself. Occasionally I would have to reboot it. Accessibility: I like seclusion and the scenery is very beautiful. We arrived during a snow fall and it was dusky. Follow the instructions the owner sends you. Gps will take you on bad roads not knowing any better. One road is washed out and it almost caused a major problem for us. The cabin is at least 40 minutes from any of the fun stuff in the area. I like that. Others in the family would have preferred to be closer to Boone. Overall, I really like the cabin. The problems I mentioned are minor, but you should know.

River Cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Linville log cabin

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Unbelievable location and did so many things at this unique cabi” Easy to check in and out. The outside and inside look even better in person. The way it was designed & decorated was so creative with all the small touches around the cabin. Very clean throuhout the cabin and on the outside. The location was perfect. Anything you could ever want to do: Golfing, hiking, fishing, skiing, tubing, canoeing, and site seeing. At the community center you can even play volleyball, basketball and other activities. They have 24 hour security in this gating community with partrol cars. I loved the fire pit in the backyard of the cabin and it has the biggest loft I have ever seen. You could walk out the cabin and start hiking on the trails. River in the back and a huge lake steps away. I'm so glad that we decided on this cabin for our vacation. Thank you very much to the River Cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Trinity on Sugar Mtn w/5BR's, Firepit, Hot Tub, Pool Table

Banner Elk house

5 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 12

“Clean with Great Entertainment Features” I booked this rental for a long weekend trip with friends. We LOVED it. Because of the number of people/couples in our party, we needed several bedrooms with combinations of single and double beds and it worked out great. Since it rained for a good part of the weekend, we enjoyed the pool table and the ping pong table. The rental was also conveniently located to the ski resorts. Due to the weather, we didn't get to use the campfire area or the hot tub, but they looked nice as well.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

My family and I stayed in this cabin from 11/21/2014-11/23/2014 and the pictures do this gorgeous cabin no justice. I have never witnessed a place that was better than the pictures depicted. The only issue was the flies...there were hugh dead and live flies everywhere: in the kitchen, on the floor, on the stairs, in the rooms. And these were mountain flies!! Besides that, everything was gorgeous. Had it not been for the flies, the cabin would have received a 5.see more
Luxury Cedar Cabin with Grand Views. Just 7 Miles to Boone, North Carolina
The entire experiance was beyond fantastic. Perfact in every way.

Our weekend at the Luxury Cedar Cabin was everything we expected and more. Words cannot describe the views, the comfort of the home and the helpfulness of the owner. The trip had a special meaning to our family because my husband suffers from late stage ALS. The home was handicapped accesible for his power chair and he was free to roam inside and out. We called this home "HEAVENS DOOR"see more

it was just great

Rental was just great. Check-in and out was fine. Only thing was the rental office was out of our way. We have rented in 7 devils for years now and always went straight to the house. Key was in a lock box. … see more

Relaxing and enjoyable

This place was amazing. The only two suggestions that I have are adding a table to the upstairs back porch and lubricating the sliding screen to the porch. … see more
Cabin Fever
Unbelievable

The cabin was everything you see on the internet and more. It felt like home. There were games for the kids to play and books to read. The area was also beautiful and close to everything. Snow Tubing, Sking, Snow Boarding, Linville Cavern and Falls, Grandfather Mountain. Our grandchildren had never seen snow and it was all there. Cabin Fever was the nicest place we have every stayed and we have stayed in a lot of places but this was our first Cabin. I would recommend this Cabin to other people.Thank You to the Owners and Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. The people in the office were very friendly and pleasant and also very helpful.
