Boone log cabin

“The perfect trip! Awesome!” Wife and I recently spent our 15th anniversary in "A Mountain Dream"...and, it was a dream, indeed! Cozy, quaint, a true "cabin feel"...beautiful views and plenty of privacy. Terri was more than wonderful to work with...she was patient and understanding with all my questions...she made the entire process extremely easy. We plan on returning this fall! Thank you, Terri! ❤️️TWO ROCK TREEHOUSE ❤️ The mountains are calling you ...

Banner Elk log cabin

2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / sleeps 6

“Beautiful Cabin - We are repeat visitors!” My family and I have stayed at this cabin twice already and plan to return. This cabin is truly special, every detail has been taken care of and the owner alexandra is a pleasure to work with. Her passion alone for her cabin and the mountains are enough to make you want to stay here! First we stayed for Christmas 2010 and made the most beautiful family memories. 6 of us stayed very comfortably, there was room for one more. Everything was very clean, lots of warm blankets throughout the cabin and a lovely fireplace. Alexandra even had a small Christmas tree and ornaments for us to decorate when we arrived on Christmas Eve. Truly a special touch! My husband and I returned in February 2013 for the Valentines day holiday and loved every minute of our stay. We used the kitchen to make breakfast and dinners, visited Grandfather Mountain and a few of the local wineries. This cabin will always have a special place in our hearts and I cannot wait to visit again. Next time I would love to visit in the summer to enjoy the white water rafting and zip-line!

Tranquil Log Cabin with Beautiful Long-Range Views

Banner Elk log cabin

4 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Ski trip in North Carolina” This is a very nice cabin. Walking in, I find it clean and well maintained. The boys (2 teenagers) are pleased to find a foosball table and a ping pong table in the basement. Kitchen: Adequately stocked with cookware. Gas range works well. There are food items already in the fridge and cupboards. The stuff in the fridge is only in the door, so there is space for our stuff. The stuff in the cabinets doesn't leave enough room. We condense the owner's food into fewer cabinets and then we have room for ours. No problem. Bathrooms: Clean. There are only showers on the top floor. The basement bathroom (third bedroom down there) has a tub, but it doesn't drain. It's cold down there, so you better be a hearty soul if you shower in the basement bath in the winter. The shower I used had one of those fancy removable shower handle things. I wish it only had a simple shower head as it sticks too far into the small shower stall. Has to pour water straight down. You are getting your hair wet no matter what. It's a minor annoyance. Living quarters: Hardwood floors, nice couch. Tv is a large CRT. No flat screen. It is in good working order with Dish network. The internet has problems. There is an old NetGear router. I've always seen problems with that brand. My MacBook was too much for it. The red light would keep coming on and I would have to wait for the router fix itself. Occasionally I would have to reboot it. Accessibility: I like seclusion and the scenery is very beautiful. We arrived during a snow fall and it was dusky. Follow the instructions the owner sends you. Gps will take you on bad roads not knowing any better. One road is washed out and it almost caused a major problem for us. The cabin is at least 40 minutes from any of the fun stuff in the area. I like that. Others in the family would have preferred to be closer to Boone. Overall, I really like the cabin. The problems I mentioned are minor, but you should know.

River Cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Linville log cabin

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Unbelievable location and did so many things at this unique cabi” Easy to check in and out. The outside and inside look even better in person. The way it was designed & decorated was so creative with all the small touches around the cabin. Very clean throuhout the cabin and on the outside. The location was perfect. Anything you could ever want to do: Golfing, hiking, fishing, skiing, tubing, canoeing, and site seeing. At the community center you can even play volleyball, basketball and other activities. They have 24 hour security in this gating community with partrol cars. I loved the fire pit in the backyard of the cabin and it has the biggest loft I have ever seen. You could walk out the cabin and start hiking on the trails. River in the back and a huge lake steps away. I'm so glad that we decided on this cabin for our vacation. Thank you very much to the River Cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Trinity on Sugar Mtn w/5BR's, Firepit, Hot Tub, Pool Table

Banner Elk house

5 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 12

“Clean with Great Entertainment Features” I booked this rental for a long weekend trip with friends. We LOVED it. Because of the number of people/couples in our party, we needed several bedrooms with combinations of single and double beds and it worked out great. Since it rained for a good part of the weekend, we enjoyed the pool table and the ping pong table. The rental was also conveniently located to the ski resorts. Due to the weather, we didn't get to use the campfire area or the hot tub, but they looked nice as well.

Adam's Wildcat Cabin

Boone log cabin

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Wish I could live here!!!” My husband and I stayed here for an extended weekend with our five year old son. We have stayed in numerous cabins throughout the Boone area and this one is by far, the best one yet! The cabin has all of the amentities of a home, just bring your clothes and some food and you're all set! The cabin is very comfy, tastefully decorated and in a perfect location. We were far enough away from Boone to truly relax yet there is a grocery store five minutes away. We grilled out each evening on the wonderful wrap around deck. The sunset view from the deck and hot tub are absolutely amazing! I wish I could experience this every evening! My son fell in love with the hot tub, we could not get him out of there!! We truly appreciate the little things about this cabin. There were fun games, Netflix access (which was great for our son!!), etc. My husband was impressed with the surprise beer he found waiting for us and I enjoyed the complimentary wine :) This is truly a home away from home. I was very sad to leave and we will definitely be back, hopefully very soon :)

“Look No Further” Pictures don’t do this one justice. We loved everything about this cabin. The location was perfect, as it was close to everything but it felt like we were tucked away in the woods. It is truly a beautiful cabin with lots of extras, and it was very, very clean! In addition to the cabin itself, the customer service is second to none. It was almost like having a personal concierge! We are already planning a return visit! Look no further- book it!

PANORAMIC VIEWS: Kilkelly's 'WEST WING' Condo

Boone apartment

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Home away from home” I own my own business, so any time away is especially precious. Kilkelly's West Wing Cottage was the perfect fit. Unlike the institutional feel of a hotel room, the West Wing is like a home away from home. Immediately, we felt comfortable and relaxed. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well kept. The rooms were equipped with every possible item anyone would need, even a tea kettle and grill accessories for the gas grill. The commercial like ice maker was an unexpected surprise. They even provided a small cooler for day trips. Normally in a hotel room, I am loathe to touch anything and notice the dirt and traces of previous guests. Immediately you can see how clean and welcoming the West Wing is - I had no hesitation using any of the amenities. We are very picky travelers and the West Wing exceeded our expectations. The breakfast casserole was so good I even got the recipe! There are several televisions with satellite, DVD, Blue-Ray, etc - available but we never even turned them on. It was so relaxing enjoying the sunrise, sunset and mountain views, we had no need for the outside world. We would not hesitate to come back and highly recommend the West Wing! :)

Private Log Cabin-Boone 15 min/Hot Tub/WiFi/Hiking/Fishing/Picnic/Fireplace/Pets

Boone log cabin

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Another great stay” We had another great stay in Deer Run (part of Fall Creek Cabins) this year. The cabins are clean and comfortable, and stocked with sheets, towels, paper products, kitchen utensils -- everything you might need and lots more. The wooded setting is quiet and beautiful, and having trails and waterfalls right on site is great for days when you don't feel like getting in the car. But if you do feel like driving, Boone, Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway and more are close by. We love exploring during the day, and then soaking in the hot tub or relaxing in rocking chairs on the covered porch at night. We've stayed here annually for more than seven years now, and we definitely plan to be back!

Boone Secluded Creek Cabin/Hot Tub/Fire Pit/Picnic/Fireplace/Fishing/Hiking/WiFi

Boone log cabin

“The most relaxing of Vacations - In stunning surroundings” My fiancé and I have stayed at Fallcreek cabins on many occasions. The cabins are conveniently situated between Boone and Wilkesboro. Within 5 minutes of leaving the highway you find yourself at the cabins, nestled serenely amongst the trees above the creek. The peace and quiet is what hits you first, closely followed by the fresh air. I have stayed at several of the cabins at Fallcreek over the years and all of them are uniquely decorated with some lovely home touches. They are spotlessly clean and comfortable, providing you with all the conveniences you could want for the week. Although there is TV, DVD player etc. we prefer to sit outside, relax in the hot tub or maybe build a fire in the fire pit. The welcome addition of wifi however means you can still keep in touch with friends and family. The seclusion of the Creekside overlook cabin is excellent and you will enjoy complete privacy. Fortunately you don't need a SUV or Truck to get to the cabins (In spring or summer) as the tracks are well maintained and not too steep. A great relaxing getaway, providing a lovely way to unwind and reconnect with nature and those you love.

Near Boone,NC - Log Cabin w/Hot Tub/Fireplace/WiFi/Fishing/Hiking/Campfire Pit

Boone log cabin

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“A lovely Family Experience” My family and I have been to Fall Creek Cabins several times. Westayed in the Mountain Laurel Cabin for a week long vacation. The cabins are clean, well equipped and comfortable. Some days we stay on the property, hiking and picnicking along the creek and reading books on the porch swing. Other days we ventured to nearby attractions, hiking, shopping and whitewater rafting, followed by a long soak in the Jacuzzi on the porch on our return to the cabin. This is one of my favorite places for a family vacation. I have always wanted to get my family or a group of friends to go together and rents several of the cabins at the same time. That would be really fun. Tim and Beverly are great hosts and always make sure everything is running smoothly.

Crosswind
An amazing Cabin!

We had such a wonderful time staying at the Crosswind Cabin. Our vacation hopes were to see some snow, however the weather did not agree :) Though we did not do any ski activities, staying at the cabin was a vacation in its self. This place did not feel like a rental cabin, it felt like a home. We are already trying to plan another visitsee more
