“Awesome!! Great view and warm cabin! A Christmas we won't forget” We loved our Christmas in this cabin! It has plenty of room and an awesome view. The view in the fall would be breathtaking. It was very clean. This cabin had everything we needed. Even hot tea and hot chocolate for christmas eve! It has the beauty of the mountains but it's not far from downtown Murphy and Lake Hiawassee. But if there is ice or snow, you would have a hard time getting in and out. No TV in greatroom. Tv watching will have to be done in the full basement. But it's really beautiful down there. Pull out sofas are uncomfortable. We recomend Mountain Country Cabin Rentals. And Triple Ridge Chalet did not dissappoint us!

“We absolutely loved it!” We had a romantic time. The cabin was very nice and homey. We just wanted to spend time together and the cabin is everything it says it is. We fell in love with the area we will be back.

“We will be back!” We so enjoyed our stay at this lakefront cabin for the last two weeks of May, and were grateful we were able to bring our fur-kid, Daisy. She enjoyed swimming, fetching, and dock diving in the lake almost as much as we enjoyed watching her! So quiet and peaceful here, with a beautiful view of the lake from the front wall of windows. Comfy furniture, well-equipped kitchen, nice large deck, easy access to town - it was all we wanted and needed for our vacation. The weather was perfect for most of our stay, which we spent out on the deck or down by the water with friends we were visiting (they live in Murphy), and we were amazed so few people were out enjoying it on a long holiday weekend - we had the lake to ourselves much of the time! Phyllis and Pete were great hosts, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Murphy.

“A great cabin with an awesome view.” The Above the Clouds Retreat is truly a beautiful mountain cabin experience that you want to return to again and again. We have rented many cabins in the mountains over the years and I must say, this is the one we've enjoyed the most. The screen porch with very comfortable seating overlooking an awesome view of the Smokies is perfect for total relaxation. The cabin is beautifully decorated and has all of the amenities of home. Joanie is a great gal who truly cares about her cabin and does her utmost to provide a great vacation experience for her renters. We plan on returning as soon as our schedule will permit.

“Breathtaking view, beautifully decorated and welcoming home” 1. The view was simply breathtaking. 2. The house was very clean, fully loaded (Kitchen and bedrom included), and decorated. 3. The gas griller was too dirty so unable to use. 4. No Maid service available. 5. You have to take out your own trash, do your laundry (towels, bed sheets, etc) and clean your own dishes all in all, I give it a 4 simply because of its awesome view

About Murphy
Nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, Murphy is an excellent starting point for adventures in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The park encompasses an endless stretch of the misty mountain range that runs through the Carolinas and Tennessee, and travelers come here from all over the world every year for wildlife spotting, bird watching, rock climbing and mountain biking opportunities.
Explore beautiful overlooks and waterfall sites here like Benton Falls. Visit historic areas that document the important events of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, and explore the museums and shopping areas around Murphy's quaint downtown.

- Visit Cades Cove: Settlers first acquired this land from Cherokee Native Americans in 1820. Now many of the early homes built by these pioneers have been historically preserved and remain standing.
- Drive the Cherohala Skyway: This famous scenic byway winds through Cherokee and the Nantahala Forests, connecting the Tellico Plains to Robbinsville.
It's never difficult to find the perfect vacation rental in or around Murphy.
