This is a newly renovated detached home that sleeps 4, featuring a beautiful private pool. It is equipped with both an indoor & outdoor kitchen with a poolside bar & outdoor dining table, perfect for entertaining. This typical 'Tico style' home is tastefully furnished and comes with quality linens, dishes, coffee maker, rice cooker, blender, toaster, etc. You will appreciate the modern fixtures and an ensuite master bedroom with exotic teak & stone outdoor shower. For your comfort there is air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room. You will love spending your days on our large outdoor covered patio next to the pool. The property has lush gardens in a private setting. Enjoy watching toucans and a great variety of beautiful birds. The sounds of howler monkeys will greet you each morning . Waves from Playa Potrero can also be heard on a quiet morning in the distance .
Villa las Olas is perfectly located, only an 8 min. walk to Potrero Beach. Stores, restaurants and bars are conveniently located between the home and the beach, only steps away. The Villa is less than a 10 min. drive to Flamingo Beach and a 30 min. drive to Tamarindo, one of the liveliest places around for surfers, shoppers and those who are looking for a night out on the town.

Response from the owner We don`t want our past and future guests to be misled by this review and left wondering about the condition of our rental properties - Oceanside Villa, Casa Mango and Casa Limon. We would like to mention that after this guest published the first version of his ‘review’, we had to asked Flipkey and Tripadvisor to interfere as it contained too many inaccuracies, condescending and defamatory comments and was divulging personal info without proper authorization. We own this property and live in our Villa at least four months a year and pride ourselves on the quality of accommodations we provide; earlier reviews reflect this. The description of our home is unpretentious and accurate: the pictures show exactly what you will find on site. The description talks about a charming tico-style home with a private pool surrounded by gardens and a large veranda, beautifully furnished, and with a fully equipped outdoors kitchen. We live in a quiet area, along Potrero Bay, surrounded by pleasant neighbors and a handful of restaurant-bars and grocery stores where we walk or bike to every day. Regarding the damaged sofa in the indoors living room, we admit that guests from last year sat on the sofa with wet bathing suits and damaged the faux- leather which is unfortunate as it is less than a year old. Needless to say, this sofa will be replaced. We have a wonderful property manager who did meet with our guests’ family, and came over to offer more pillows and blankets. Making sure our visitors have a comfortable stay is our priority. We send our regards to all our past guests for their constructive comments and look forward to seeing them again. To our dismay, this guest has described his visit to our little piece of paradise with language befitting a scene from a horror movie. We wish him and his family all the best in their future travel.
