Quiet, Private and Peaceful & NEW! The "Bear Cliff Cabin", (Cabin 1) a 1236 square feet, log cabin with soaring 8/12 pitch roof, heavy douglas fir beams and rafters, with 8 inch pine ceiling, all to be seen throughout! Not like the "fake" log cabin ceilings out there today!

Enjoy our ethereal Bird Sanctuary where almost every bird type comes to drink & eat! The squirrels will argue this fact.

Wildlife abounds from whippoorwills, singing coyotes, hoot owls early and late evenings to cardinals, wrens, squirrels, 16 inch pileated wood peckers, lizards and box turtles, eagles and vultures always in the air.

Real Ponderosa Pine flooring goes completely through the cabin, even the bathrooms! There are 8 inch t&g Pine walls throughout with no dry-wall! The only Log Chandelier, with candelabra lights of it's kind, is suspended by heavy black chains!

We, your hosts, actually live on the 20 acre premises to be there for your needs.

3 beaches, 2 state parks and a large marina for all your water fun needs are are located 3 to 5 minutes either side of our mature, pine-oak filled property. The shows and Branson Landing are 15 minutes away! Wonderful fly-fishing success at Roaring River State Park can be enjoyed 30 minutes west end of 86, as well as Eureka Springs, Arkansas, with the famed Passion Play. We are in the middle of everything. (Check out our other new Log Cabin: the "Deer Stand Cabin", Listing # 8507593). ( Keep in mind, 2 Cabis, 2 listings so, one calendar may not have your Dates but, the other cabin may be OPEN ! The 2 Calendars are updated frequently .)

See: Dogwood Canyon - a beautiful nature park - 8 minutes west on Hwy 86 See: Top of the Rock - natural museum, restaurant, golf course - 4 miles east on Hwy 86.

Interaction with guest

A While back, a Guest called me up and said they couldn't go anywhere and had a problem with their car. I said , "Do you want me to call a local mechanic?" They said, "No. We can't get in the car, there's a Huge Vulture on the Hood of our car for 2 days now, and it has a funny look on its face." Turned out it had a broken wing and it was drinking out of a fountain by the door. I called the Fish & Wildlife but it disappeared by the time they got there.
