Dragonfly Mountain Free 5th Night - Quiet Luxury

Eureka Springs house

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Lovely, peaceful place to stay that is convenient to local attractions.” We were looking for lodging around Eureka Springs that didn't have us packed in with other visitors; a place where we could move at our own pace, have some privacy, yet be close to everything the area has to offer. Dragonfly Mountain gave us this as well as a comfortable and attractive place to stay that felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

Eureka Springs log cabin

“I got engaged at The Cinnamon Valley!” This is a gorgeous gem of a place tucked back in the woods away from the loud motorcycles that cover the streets of Eureka during the spring months. My (now) fiancé had a loose plan to propose to me wherever we ended up that evening. We couldn't have been more pleased to stumble upon this beautiful place. The Cattleman is the cabin we stayed in- beautiful furnishings and all the aminities you need for a getaway. It was perfect! And will now be an anniversary spot for us for years to come!!

“peaceful and relaxing” the cabin was very clean and neat. It is not far from town if you forgot something very well stocked with coffee creamer and most condiments. it had been raining when we got there so pool hadn't been cleaned but was still useable the hot tub was relaxing if taken in small amounts because it was hot outdoors. The fresh flowers was a pleasant surprise also bowl of candy and bottle of wine. will be sure and check availability of cabin when heading south in the future

“Wonderful Getaway!” The cabin was beautiful! And the staff made us feel as if we were right at home. When we arrived they had a loaf of cinnamon bread waiting for us. You have seclusion away from other people, but are within close driving distance to historic Eureka Springs downtown. This particular cabin has 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, and some fun water features (including a hot tub outside (secluded) and whirlpool tub). Will be a return customer, excellent and relaxing vacation.

“Excellent stay and a comforting hospitality” One of the best cabin stays we have seen in and around Arkansas. The stay was extremely comfortable with the 4 bedrooms and facilities provided were way too luxurious and relaxing. We had a wonderful memorable stay for 3 days. The cutlery and appliance is kitchen were over satisfying for our stay and the best part was the deck with a lovely view and the spa to sooth ourself. The lower deck wih the pool table kept us busy with friends with the full bar setup was fun to spend time. On the whole a great stay! we sure to return to this place soon!

About Eureka Springs

Located in the lush Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, Eureka Springs is a family town filled with beautiful Victorian architecture. In fact, the entire downtown is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. When you arrive in Eureka, take a trolley ride through the city to enjoy its historic sites. Be sure to visit Queen Anne Mansion House, one of the most beautiful and well-preserved buildings in the city.

During the day, Eureka Springs offers plenty of entertainment and recreation options, from theme parks to beautiful churches. In the evenings, head out to the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down, a musical and comedy performance that unites genres like bluegrass, country, and gospel. From spring to fall, the Great Passion Play is another unique Eureka attraction. At this popular event, the story of Christ is staged in a huge amphitheater, three to four times each week. In addition to the Great Passion Play, summer brings a roster of weekly arts and music events to downtown Eureka.

Some of the best places to visit around Eureka Springs are:

  • Turpentine Creek Big Cat Wildlife Refuge: One of Eureka's best attractions, this refuge for abandoned or abused tigers, lions, and other big cats is open to the public. Visit during feeding time for the best show or take a tour out to the natural habitat spaces.
  • Onyx Cave Park: Just outside Eureka, visitors can take a guided audio tour of this natural cave.
  • Christ of the Ozarks: Here you will find a modern seven-story statue of Christ located on Magnetic Mountain. Over 67 feet tall, it is one of the biggest statues of Christ in the world and a major Eureka Springs attraction.
  • Eureka Springs Historical Museum: Originally built in 1889, this unique museum exhibits artifacts, furniture, photographs, and other interesting historical pieces from early Eureka Springs' history.
  • Queen Anne Mansion House Museum: This restored Victorian mansion has been redecorated with perfectly designed 19th century interiors.
  • Eureka Springs and North Arkansas Railway: You can take a ride or have a meal on a refurbished 1920s locomotive at the North Arkansas Railway.
  • Thorncrown Chapel: Designed by E. Fay Jones, this unique glass church features more than 400 windows overlooking the woods.

A vacation rental makes a great home base for your trip to Eureka Springs. With trees and mountains all around, a luxury condo or cabin rental in the woods will give you a great taste of the Ozark environment.

Dragonfly Mountain Free 5th Night - Quiet Luxury
Dragonfly Mountain is an ideal place to stay if you vacation in Eureka Springs.

This home was beautiful, secluded, and comfortable. There was plenty of space, and Jan was always available but didn't hover. She had cinnamon rolls out for us to have for breakfast the first morning and sent a lovely loaf of bread home with us at the end of our stay. These extras, along with the homey feel of the cabin, made the place feel so special! Our son, age 10, thoroughly enjoyed feeding the donkeys and greeting the dogs each day. My husband loved having the pool table handy, and I took the time to just curl up with a good book and relax in this gorgeous setting. Can't say enough about how great it was!see more
