A very special 3 bedroom Stone Villa. This mini-estate offers extensive multi-level terraces, massive private covered terraces, a large swimming pool and tropical gardens! The huge living room with high ceilings is designed in an open concept and features a very large gourmet kitchen with American-style appliances and breakfast bar.
There are 2 bedrooms on the upper level – both with bathrooms. Each bedroom opens onto a large adjacent terrace.
A spacious 3rd bedroom with en-suite bath is on the main level.
The Villa is complimented by 4 levels of terraces, huge swimming pool, and 2 covered ranchos. Paddle fans are placed both inside and outside for extra comfort. Ideal for entertaining on a grand scale!

House rules
Please use the outside (pool) showers before entering the pools and remove sand from the body and bathing suit after returning from the beach.
DO NOT shower off sand, etc. using the indoor bathrooms as this can damage the waste pipes!
Please respect other guests' need for privacy - especially at night., between 9 PM and 8 AM - by keeping TV, radio, conversations, etc. to a minimum.

Perhaps you will be delighted to know that the long up-hill driveway to Jungle House is now totally paved! What a change. Easy to reach in the middle of the jungle! Mornings and evenings the birds appear in the valley and the more timid wildlife appears. This is a great spot for observing the "locals". Taxis are available, but not without going to some trouble to locate them. (It should be a lot easier, though, now that the road is paved!) As you discovered, grocery stores. shops, excellent restaurants, bars, beaches, and outfits catering to all manner of tours and activities are all close at hand.There is never enough time to do all that there is to see and do! Your comments about visitors with mobility issues are well-placed, Kathy ! Being on a hillside, there is nothing for it but to climb stairs. Thank you for your visit. It was appreciated! Add to that "event night" activities and you have special memories in the making! (Our area is blessed with a broad range of entertainers, singers, musicians who appear frequently at area bars and restaurants. We are always delighted to bring our guests up to date on upcoming events and to assist in planning day trips of interest!) Add to that picturesque beaches, hills and enchanting scenery just a breath away. A wealth of wildlife - such as butterflies, coatimundi, deer, monkeys, parrots and birds of all kinds reside in the adjacent tropical dry forest...The nearby ocean offers endless opportunities for whale, dolphin and turtle watching, too! Bring your camera! Canopy tours, enchanting river cruises, sailing, fishing, golf and tennis are all available mere minutes from our property. The wildlife here is flourishing, as are Lorita - our talking, singing Amazon parrot - and her other parrot friends ! We did not really get much opportunity to intereact with you all because of the shortness of your stay and the activities of your family... Perhaps next time we will be able to share some "quality time" with you all. The home made Focaccia was positively wonderful ! Thank you for it. Both Tom and I consumed it just minutes after you had all left. It was soo good that we have added it to our boca menu for sharing with friends. We were very pleased that you found the accommodations comfortable for your group and trust that we will have the opportunity to share our little corner of Paradise with you again one day soon. It is - for us - a great pleasure to be able to share this magic setting with so many Ticos, as well as other latinos and gringos. This is truly a magic place in a very magic country.
