Description
Winnow Stables is a luxury holiday barn oozing with charm and character. It has recently been sympathetically converted from a traditional Derbyshire limestone milking parlour into luxury holiday accommodation to sleep 4 people.
I’M HAPPY TO OFFER SHORT MID-WEEK AND WEEKEND BREAKS - PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR ACCURATE PRICES.
It features an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area which has retained its vaulted ceiling, delightful exposed beams and characterful stonework. The superb country kitchen is well equipped and the log burner provides a focal point for a cosy evening in.
Up just one step to both luxury bedrooms which also have exposed beams and mellow lime plaster on the walls. One of the bedrooms has a king sized bed and the other may be configured as a king sized bed or two singles depending on your preference. Both bedrooms have en suite shower rooms with walk in power showers. Crisp white linen and fluffy white towels are provided.
Outside there is a sitting area with patio furniture, perfect for al fresco dining and drinks on the terrace.
Winnow Stables boasts an unrivalled location for walkers and cyclists of all abilities. Being situated between Dovedale and the Manifold Valley and in close proximity to both the Tissington Trail and Manifold Trail there is something for everyone. Other activities nearby include fishing, horseriding, watersports at Carsington Water and family fun at Alton Towers. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Keddleston Hall are all close by and offer an excellent day out.
Come and be spoilt for choice when eating out at the many country pubs and restaurants nearby.
Our guests enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our small working farm where its not unusual to encounter a cheeky goat or free ranging hen pottering around. For both old and young alike we feel that Winnow Stables offers something rather special.
