Description

Perfect location for rest and relaxation, watching the tide come in and the river turn in to a hive of activity fishing boats unloading there catch , and boats of all sizes take to the river for a few hours at high tide twice a day, then the tide go s out and the sand flaps become home to all kinds of birds , a perfect place to bar be que from the balcony or just take a class of wine as you watch the moon rise up over tapely manor opposite , , the sun rising opposite so a lovely place for breakfast on the balcony , that runs off the kitchen , theres a second one from the living room on the next floor , you will look forward to returning home to these views just 2 miles from westward ho beach or to the market town of bideford with its many shops banks and restaurants walking distance to the restaurants and bars in appledore , were you will also find 2 very good food shops one a deli the other a general store to get any provisions , you may need , or do an on line shop from sainsbury s and have your food delivered the day of your arrival ,

Water side maisonette on the 1st and 2nd floor with 2 balconys looking over the estuary with parking directly out side with no restrictions. also private off rd parking at the side ,Tax ride to bideford for night life for around, six ponds if you use, kirkhams, cars, during the day and Barnstaple, ten miles, great for nights out, , very good rates from Bristol airport, for less than a hundred pounds by same local taxi firm, or £65 from tiverton parkway as i used them my self yesterday {no connection to my business }a perfect place any season ideal for kyaking on the river , our local beach westward ho! is world renound for its long sandy beach ideal for kite surfing wind surfing and kite bourding or buggying , i will accept younger groups for hen or stag parties with a slightly higher deposit :}

2 balconys and off road parking as well as on rd unrestricted parking directly out side for around 350 days of the year the boat yard is in the middle of a working boat yard with appledoor ship builders just up the rd accasionally if a large piece of ship or yacht is moved one has to park ones car at the side this is rare and happens only a few times a year and is very interesting to ship enthusiasts and the local press but only takes a few minutes to pass the property appledoor ship yrd just recently built the james joyce a fabulous ship to be used as a customs cutter by the irish navy i will post pictures later

Taxis locally are very reasonable. Buss are regular. And the train station at barnstaple is ten miles away.

“Comfy stay with lovely view”

A quick one night stay in this comfortable and clean apartment. A lovely view of the estuary, warm and spacious. Would definitely book again.
