Description

With stunning good looks inside and out our architect designed oak timber framed cottage is just the place to kick off your wellies or heels! Before putting the kettle on the Aga or settling with a glass of wine in front of the wood burning stove set in its giant limestone fireplace.

We are so baby friendly that the master bedroom even has it's own adjoining baby suite, we are fully equipped for the youngest guests upward so you don't need to fill the car with everything bar the kitchen sink - we've thought of it for you!

Situated in the small village of Beckford nestling under the leigh of the largest Cotswold outlier there are plentiful walks on the doorstop with a store and deli and a pub at the end of the road.

Our own hens and ducks may just lay you an egg or two for breakfast before setting off to explore the many iconic honey coloured Cotswold towns and villages with their bistros and boutiques and unspoilt pubs to suit all.

Whether young or not so young everybody will love their stay at Windfall and will want to return as so many of our guests do time and again and - you may wish to consider hiring our classic Porsche 911 carrera or our cutesy Nissan Figgaro for a day or so during your stay for a very special occasion.

Upon arrival we will always provide some milk in the fridge, a cake or similar on the side and plenty of tea and coffee in the cupboard to get you going. We frequently have guests who plan food deliveries and all the major food retailers will deliver to Windfall.

The property is set in the grounds of our grade 2 listed house so we are near to hand should you have a question or want advice on places to eat out or visit.

The cottage is designed with the discerning holiday guest in mind, each bedroom having its own individual en suite facilities, all with decadent free standing or integrated tubs and the master with a huge walk in shower and , with plenty of hot water and all rooms are supplied with crisp white Egyptian cotton linen and soft white towels what better way to luxuriate.
The large farm style kitchen comes complete with Aga and every modern contemporary convenience including a wine fridge with a bottle chilling upon your arrival
All rooms are equipped with flat screen tv the lounge comes with sky plus with kids and sports packages to keep everyone happy and a blue ray player for the ultimate film viewing experience on a winters evening and with under floor heating throughout you don't even need to bring your slippers!

Set in it's own safe and secure gardens and overlooking our orchard with many traditional variety fruit trees you may enjoy an apple or plum straight from the tree in season and hens and ducks to complete the picture.Its a kids delight and that means you too!

The patio terrace runs to the side and rear of the property and comes equipped with quality hardwood dining table and chairs and a giant professional gas BBQ to keep the cave men instincts happy you won't want to venture out of a summer evening just sit and enjoy.

“Delightful location”

We had a delightful stay here. The location is excellent for local amenities and sight seeing. Beautiful cottage, very well laid out with everything provided for you. We have a 4 month year old child and having all the facilities available was a great help. Would definitely recommend the cottage to other families.

How do damage deposits work?

If Keith (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
