Description

This cosy farm cottage near Berrynarbor sleeps two people in one bedroom.Tom's House is a welcoming cottage on the owner's 100-acre farm, near Watermouth Castle and the village of Berrynarbor. The cottage has a bedroom with a six-foot super king-size bed and sea views, as well as a bathroom with half bath, basin and WC upstairs. Downstairs is a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside is a front patio garden with sea views, and off road parking for one car. Tom's House is perfectly placed for the coastal path, local beaches and bustling towns of this part of Devon.

Amenities: Eco-friendly biomass central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, DVDs, games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Private front lawn with furniture alongside pond. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop, pub and beach 8 mins walk. Note: Babes-in-arms and infants under 2 only. Note: Access to property is via a steep hill.

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: The beautiful, picturesque village of Berrynarbor is an ideal base for exploring North Devon. The village is situated at the end of Sterridge Valley and is within woodlands and near farms. The village has a shop and pub serving food. The narrow streets are lined with appealing cottages, gardens and floral displays. Also dotted around the village, there are over sixty flower-pot men, which can also be bought in the village workshop.

This area lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is famous for its coastal cliffs and rugged landscape. If you are a keen walker, this area is perfect. The North Devon Coastal Path which is close to Berrynarbor offers fantastic walks and wonderful scenery.

Close by are the seaside towns and villages of Illfracombe, Combe Martin, Barnstaple and Woolacombe. This location is superb all year round.
