This delightful detached cottage is in the village of Bigbury-on-Sea, close to Modbury and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.Highdown is a lovely detached cottage in Bigbury-on-Sea, just six miles from Modbury in Devon. The cottage can sleep six people and has one double bedroom and two twins, together with a bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburner, together with a conservatory with a dining area. Outside is off road parking for three cars and a private lawned garden with furniture. Highdown is a delightful cottage with lovely views in a stunning part of Devon and a perfect location for exploring the area.
Amenities: Electric storage heaters with open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, Bluetooth speakers, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Enclosed lawned gardens with furniture. Two small to medium well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Mobile phone coverage intermittent
Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Town: Bigbury-on-Sea is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is ideal for family holidays. Dusted with sand and lapped by shallow waters, the beach offers safe fun for groups particularly if youve got children in tow. In addition, Bigbury-on-Sea beach is dotted with rock pools, so theres plenty of entertainment for budding marine biologists.

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to provide your comments. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. We take feedback very seriously, and appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. The property owner has since addressed the points raised by completing a thorough deep clean of the property, as well as some redecoration. The double bed has been replaced, as well as the towels and linen for the property. New sockets have also been added for convenience.
