“We had a wonderful time in Mexico and villa areccife played a bi” We stayed at the villa areccife for a week in November of 2012. I am not a resort fan therefore we've rented a lot of houses in different places. And this is one of the best. It is a new, modern, well-appointed, well-equipped house. It had everything we needed. It is located in the residential part of the resort. When we stayed there only a few houses were built making the villa private and quite place. The villa staff is very nice and helpful. On our arrival despite the late hours (around 8PM) we were greeted by alex Estrella a villa manager, who also works at the resort. When we arrived at the Cancun airport late afternoon even though I reserved a car at Herz, thinking it is a respectable car rental company, there were no cars available. We had to take a taxi to the villa. Next morning alex drove my husband to a car rental place. Whenever we had problems with the villa alex was always available to deal with them. The housekeeper Diana was at the villa every day (even on Sunday) making it sparkling clean. We had a wonderful time in Mexico and villa areccife played a big role in it.

“Akumal Paradise Rental” We shared this beautiful home with two other families. Even with 6 adults and 7 teenagers, we never felt crowded in Villa Zen del Mar. The home is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Rosa prepared delicious fruit with breakfast every morning, but all of us agreed that Rosa's daily guacamole was the trip favorite! Easy walking distance to the town of Akumal, security and staff on site, chef prepared meals, all made for a perfect vacation! There was something for everyone on this trip! Villa Zen del Mar was everything we could have hoped for and more!

“Amazing Villal & Vacation!!” Rarely do I ever take the time to write reviews of my hotels, villas or destinations but the team behind Villa alma Rosa is incredible and deserve a shout out! I'm an avid visitor to the Riviera Maya, Akumal & Tulum and was looking for a villa to help ring in my birthday with some friends. The communication between Marina at Riviera Maya Haciendas was incredible - quick response, courteous and happy to accommodate every need and request. Everything was organized for me according to my needs prior to arrival i.e. grocery shopping, food menus, villa prestocking, flowers, maps etc. If you're looking for a villa rental with a true "concierge" type of service then alma Rosa is right up your alley. When we arrived the house, I was really impressed at the care that goes into alma Rosa. The furnishings, details, color and character are all tastefully so done and warm that it really adds to the experience. The outdoor area/pool/beach are beautiful and well maintained, this is where we really spent most of our days/nights. The bedrooms/bathrooms are very beautiful with amazing beds/linens and furnishings. I've rented quite a few villas in the Riviera Maya and a lot of them feel cheap and have poor construction etc. Villa alma Rosa is a real home! I briefly met the owner when I first arrived who was lovely but wanted to get out of our hair so we enjoyed our time. The chef Carlos and his wife/housekeeper Jafet are the 2 sweetest people on the planet and to be honest are part of the sole reason that I would rent alma Rosa again. The food, attention and love along with hard work that they gave us every day was simply amazing and I was so grateful to have them there with us. They felt like family when we left! Overall I will absolutely be returning to alma Rosa soon but at the same time don't want to spread the word - I think this is the best kept secret & villa in the area! “outdated” loved working with marcia and look forward to having her book our next stay at seven seas. this was our third visit. we have stayed in units 4 and 3 and this time we were in 1. in a nutshell...it is in serious need of a lot of updating to be on the same level as the other units. yes, it was less expensive, but we would definitely spend more for one of the lighter, brighter and updated units. the staff at seven seas is fantastic. miguel is one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet and we enjoy talking with him each time we return. the grounds are gorgeous and the cleaning staff is terrific!! i wish seven seas could stay a secret, but it won't. it is the most perfect place we have found in our travels throughout the caribbean. our next trip can't come soon enough!

“Private Paradise” Our large family chose Casa La Via and loved it. The villa is outstanding and the owners have equipped it with everything you could possibly need. The personal touches were very much appreciated. It is a beautiful and spacious home and while the photos show you exactly what you get, they cannot fully depict how wonderful it is. The pool and patio/deck were our favorite place to spend time, although family dinners around the large dining table were pretty special too. We used the snorkeling equipment at the nearby lagoon for some private snorkeling (not like the hoards at Akumal) and were happy to have the bikes and golf cart for use in the community as well. We didn’t rent a vehicle, but taxis were easy to obtain so we could visit beaches or attractions that are close by. Also, lots of tours include transportation. Victor, the groundskeeper, kindly drove us to the main gate in the golf cart when required. The owners have created a binder of information on everything from using equipment in the villa to the best beaches, attractions and restaurants to visit. It is very comprehensive and a valuable tool to use during your stay. While we didn't deal directly with the owners, the rental agency was excellent to work with and answered all questions within a day and often the same day. . Wilma and Victor were so friendly and kept the villa and grounds immaculate. We had Wilma cook us a meal one evening and it was great. Loved the Lime soup! We have already recommended La Via to friends.

“Fantasic villa, fantastic staff, fantastic stay” Enormous villa with beautiful bedrooms and gorgeous indoor/outdoor living area opening onto a pool and tethered to the unique local landscape by the surrounding vegetation and a spring-fed rock lagoon. But what makes this villa special is the friendly staff, for whom no courtesty or comfort was too small to overlook.

“The best & most picturesque beachfront hacienda on the Riviera M” My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Hacienda Kukulkan during our Mexico trips, and consider it by far, the most gorgeous private home on the beautiful Mayan coastline! So look no further, you have found your dream vacation home in the Caribbean! From the minute we walked in, it completely took our breath away! The front of the house opens to a big tennis court on the left. There's even a fully equipped gym with panoramic views of the ocean, all which gave us the added motivation to work out on our vacation! ? The center of the house has an open air courtyard with a cute pond, and pretty patio furniture, and all rooms are built around it, some with spectacular ocean views. We spent many a night doing dinners under the moonlight and breakfast when we wanted to just laze in. The maids did a wonderful job with cooking & housekeeping, going out of the way to make sure we were comfortable. What is so impressive is that every room and every piece of furniture is custom designed! We spent hours in the fabulous pool overlooking the ocean, with music playing in surround sound throughout the villa. The location was awesome! Puerto aventuras surrounding a beautiful dolphin marina is convenient, close to all the night life & shopping at Playa and also the fabulous Tulum beach ruins. We felt safe and secure in this gated community! 3 years later, we were back to get married & the ambience was surreal! The courtyard, steps from the ocean, was perfect for our Reception, with Cocktail Hour by the pool. We hosted our family there, and the 8 bedrooms were more than sufficient to accommodate all. Our wedding was a huge success and our guests cannot stop talking about the gorgeous hacienda! We highly recommend Hacienda Kukulkan as your abode, to enjoy paradise in style! Like us, you would go back!! We are thankful to the owners (Rick & Sandy Spell), Marina of Riviera Maya Haciendas & Eddie, and maids like Mariana who made our stay there so memorable!

“Better than we could have imagined” We just got back from a weeks stay at the lovely Casa Caribena. My husband and I booked the house for 1 week with 10 other people. All adults, a mix of couples and singles. I really cant say enough good things about the staff of Casa Caribena and the house itself. The location is beautiful, the views from every balcony in the house, the food!! Believe the hype, it was fantastic. The staff are all so sweet and helpful. The house was always clean, very spacious. You will have trouble deciding where to hang out, as there are so many wonderful spots around the house. The roof top was a favorite of mine. I did yoga up there every morning and it was a quiet heaven. The beach is a bit rocky as others have indicated, but it was beautiful and clean nevertheless (not a negative at all). The sand is soft and nice, but just when you get out to the water it's a bit rocky. Many days we took the kayaks out and snorkeled from there. We saw tons of wildlife right from the beach. The Tulum Ruins and shops are a quick cab ride away. I felt completely safe the entire time. I would go back in a heartbeat! I will say, the electricity in our room went out in the middle of the night one night. I told Lily, and received a call from Lisa (the homeowner) within an hour, saying they were working on it and she was so sorry. It didn't cause us any problems at all and it I was actually nice to be able to see how accommodating and quick they were to fix a "problem" if you even want to call it that :) There's also a nice restaurant and Cenote a few houses down that you can walk to. Blue Sky (the restaurant) had great food, drinks and staff. Casa Caribena is truly such a gem! Heaven on earth!

“Excellent Family Vacation” My family and I had a wonderful time at Casa Caribena. We met 4 other families there (who also had kids). The location is the best you can find...right on the beach in a gorgeous, safe spot. The coral right outside our door provided tons of snorkeling fun for the adults and great tide-pooling for the kids. (I do recommend everyone bring water shoes so you can play more comfortably in the ocean). The house crew were exceptional too. They cooked and cleaned up after us, which made meals so easy for busy parents. It also made it a simple process to stock the house with food because Lily went to the store for us and saved us a ton of time (which is better spent on the beach or in the pool). The house is super clean, cool and comfortable and very large. I highly recommend to any families who are looking for a get-away but with ease and comfort for the kiddos. P.S. I also give huge kuddos to Lisa who answered endless questions from me and so was patient and kind. She was wonderful to deal with and made us feel welcomed. I'd definietly come back!!!

“This place has it all!” This condo had everything we wanted while vacationing in Mexico. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas were updated and beautiful. We loved that the pool and beach were only a few steps from the patio, and that there is a beautiful coral reef just moments from the shore. We snorkeled everyday. You can swim with dolphins, eat at great restaurants, and shop in the cute little stores in the marina at Puerto Aventuras, which is only a 5 minute walk from the condo. If you are looking for the perfect vacation home, this is it! We will be back!

“Super fabulous, very happy family...” The property and villa is exceptional. Very well decorated and has the best vibe for entertaining. Mimi was our concierge and was very helpful and welcoming. This was a surprise trip for my family. All they knew before hand was cancun airport. I had pre arranged night time chef service. That was a+. we had 15 people who were all accomadated for at ease. Anna Paulo was our main chef. She made beautiful desserts! We also had Martin as a daytime bartender, he made sure everyone had a beverage from the dock to the pool to the garden. Good stuff :) The family enjoyed taking the golf carts into the dolphin area with shops and stores. We rented them for the week. The villa had them ready when we arrived in the driveway. Best thing ever was the night entertainment. Worth every penny . Water drums and fire dancers. 1 hour show. So amazing. You feel the drums and the water color splashing about with heat from the fire ...it's quite impressive, must see! I'm already making plans for the next trip back. We felt safe. Had everything a large group needed. Very accomadating. Playa Del Carmen was pretty close by by taxi. Bring water shoes if you go in the ocean. My next trip will include a tequila tasting at villa for one of the nights and a day trip to the salt caves and everything else the same :) Super Fabulous Vacation @ Hacienda Del Mar!! “A beautiful, large, private home, bring the whole family!” Casa Tortuga was a wonderful place to rest and relax or to come home to after a long day of adventure in and around Tulum. We had 4 adult couples and it was still more space than we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed to cook our own meals and we enjoyed spending time together in the kitchen and main room preparing meals and eating and hanging out. We loved getting to use the ourdoor grill, the kayaks, the hammocks, beach chairs, etc. Gabi and Luis were excellent hosts and made us wonderful breakfasts each morning from local produce in the local styles. She also helped us set up a fishing trip and locate other services we were interested in during our stay. Would highly recommend for a family getaway as there are fun things for everybody to do, whether its hanging out and relaxing on the property or making a short drive to scuba, snorkel, hike ruins, shop, eat/drink, lounge on another beach, fish, the list goes on! Was a great place to rest and rejuvenate and still enjoy some exciting Mexican adventures.

“Fantastic!!” The second week in January stayed 5 days in this apartment in Playa del Carmen. It has all the amenities. The place is quiet. It is located near the federal road to visit the Mayan Riviera. To go to the beach need car. We are very happy and definitely next year we will repeat. We liked it.

“Amazing Condo- Feels Like The W-Hotel” My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at this beautiful luxurious condo in Playa De Carmen. We have travelled all over the world and I must say that I would recommend staying here to anyone. The place is new, designed like beautifully, close to everything, has everything you need and more. The service is top notch. You are treated like a VIP right from the start.

“Gorgeous place and views, outstanding service” We spent a week at the villa with family to celebrate our wedding on the beach. The views are just gorgeous, it rained quite a lot, but It made it our stay and wedding ceremony even more memorable. Great backgrounds for the pictures. The villa is kind of isolated from the crowds but very close to the beach and the hotel, so we could go to a few hotel evening performances and enjoy the sand beach. The fact that the villa is not on the beach did not bother us at all, on the contrary, we loved it, very dramatic and more natural views. The owners are great hosts and keep villa and amenities in very good shape. The cleaning service was excellent. Mexican cooks were great not only as cooks but also very nice people with very welcoming and kind personalities. It was a good idea to have cooking services, very reasonably priced and delicious. Overall, the experience met and exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend Brisa Caribe for all the reasons stated above and for Doug and Shelly being very helpful in organizing this trip (cooking services, taxi, etc.). We would also recommend this place for a small intimate wedding ceremony, our wedding was more beautiful than we expected and Doug recommended us a good wedding planner who made it even more perfect! “Luxurious, Opulent, Well-maintained--110% satisfied (would go back tmw)” Read all the previous reviews for details--- they are all absolutely accurate. There is even purified water brought in the house and kept in a separate tank for drinking and cooking. Having access to the Reef Hotel and the gym & beach was phenomenal. We played Volleyball everyday at 4pm, then took a quick dip in the ocean. The evenings were spent strolling to town to discover a new restaurant OR simply cooking up something ourselves in the gourmet kitchen at home. The management company and the property owners are extremely responsive and helpful. We ordered the van transfer from Cancun airport (so worth it since as soon as we touched down-- the stress-free vacation began.) You could also take a luxury bus to the center of PDC and then cab over to the Reef Hotel (across the street) -- no worries. We had Maria stock some Coronas and Papaya and other items so the house was ready upon arrival (for a nominal fee). I like to give balanced reviews and have been racking my brain to come up with something at Casa Susana that needs improvement. The only thing I could say is that the Wifi got really slow when 5 people were using it -- no big deal -- get off the internet and get to the beach! You're on vacation! The property is also very safe in Playacar Phase 2 -- a 5 min/$5 cab ride into town. The cabs are constantly available and right on the corner.
