“Weekend” This was a nice clean cozy place!! The cabin exceeded our expectations. The deck was super nice and the trees around the cabin where so nice. It was easy to get to and minimum number of stairs to the front door. The barbeque worked great. I would stay there again. The windows to the master bedroom where awesome too,

“Good family experience, but with cold nights” This is a well located cabin. Has all the bells & whistles needed to have a nice stay. Only complaints are that the a/C heating system doesn't cover the full house so if you are at the upper floor you will have a very cold night. Also, the phone line never worked even though it was reported. Else this two issues, I believe it's a nice place to stay.

“Wonderful cozy getaway” My husband and I spent a week at Big Bear Lake to go fishing and boating. The cabin had everything we could need - fenced yard for our dog, washer and dryer, cable and WiFi! It snowed one night, so having the yard for our dog was really a plus. Our location was central to The Village and two fishing marinas. The Cool Cabin crew works 24/7, so if you need anything, they are right there. Only downside was the bed size was smaller than we are used to and a bit too soft. Other than that, it was great!

“We had a great time” We enjoyed our stay. The house was the perfect size for my family of 5. My girls loved playing in the big yard. We decided to bring our dog with us next time. It was very peaceful sitting on the back deck at night roasting marshmallows and playing games. If I had to pick 1 or 2 things to say I didn't like, which is hardly anything. It would be, on the upper deck, way too many spider webs that you can't sit out there & the bunk beds in the second room are way too close to each other. If you're clostraphobic, you can't use the bottom bunk. Other than that, everything was great.

“Everything was perfect!” The cabin was cute, has a home feel to it. And had enough space for all 5 of us. The top loft was great the kids loved going up and down the stairs. The snow summit is close by. Although u do have to drive, it's a very short drive.

“Excellent real mountain cabin” Excellent cool cabins service. They were there to answer all of our questions. Excellent real mountain cabin. The cabin is so pretty inside that when you get there it will exceed your expectative you have from photos on the web site. There are just 3 very small issues that need to be attended. This issues did not affect our stay in the cabin at all. This is just a heads up for the owner and cool cabins. 1.- There is a water leak at the garage where the pool-table, this leak appears to be from the bathroom on the second floor. Pool table and game is not affected by this issue but I think the ceiling may one day suffer really bad damage. 2.- There is a broken lamp in the ceiling on the living room. 3.- The noise from the heater is a little bit disturbing. As I said this are very small issues that need to be repair but they did not made our stay unpleasant at all. We love the living room it is big enough for all the family. Location is great, just in front of all supermarket and 3 min drive to ski mountain. When we return we will try to get this one again.

“Cozy and quiet” First off, i want to start by praising big bear cool cabins... Above and beyond in customer service. They allowed us to change our reservation due to a family emergency and were very accommodating. Easy check in and check out. Will use them again. Second, cornerstone cabin was awesome. So many nice things to say, off the beaten path, walk to the golf course, minutes to the grocery, and to the lake and slopes. Will stay here again. Would only criticize a few things. A new grill would be nice. The hot tub is not very private, as it is right on the road. Even a small privacy fence on the side would work. One of the chairs was pretty dirty too. But none of these things were a deal breaker.

“Spacious, close to slopes” This cabin is spacious, well equipped and would be great for both summer and winter visits. Convenient to most everything, and of course very close to snow summit. No immediate neighbor on either side, nice wooded setting, nice game room and fenced yard is a plus for pets. Drawbacks? The view balcony faces the street, a couple of the bunk bed mattresses were lumpy and the place is a little dark. But its comfortable for both large and small groups and I'd recommend for all but the fussiest visitors.

“Very Clean” I t was very clean and comfortable. I had all the things you need to cook and prepare meals and do laundry if necessary. My only other comment is the difference for checkout between what we got from Cool Cabins and what was posted in the cabin. In the cabin it said to remove all towels and bed linens and put them in the laundry room. This was not mentioned in Cool Cabin directions.

“Loved our weekend in alpine Haus” We chose to enjoy a weekend away at Big Bear Lake for Valentine's Day weekend, 2014. The reservation was easy to make and the staff was very helpful. Alpine Haus was available and so we chose this cabin. It was so much more than we expected. Not only was it comfortable and inviting, but it had everything one could possible need to use for the weekend and more. I wasn't sure what would be available in the kitchen, so we brought some of our own cooking and eating utensils, only to find that we did not need to bring a thing. Everything but the food was available for our use. It was clean and organized. I could not have asked for more. Our cabin was located in close proximity to where we wanted to visit and only required a short drive to the center of town. This was the perfect weekend get-a-way and I would certainly recommend Big Bear Cool Cabins to anyone looking for a quiet retreat. Thank you for a perfectly wonderful time.
