“Nice and Cozy” We had a great time during Spring Break 2014. We wanted to do something a little different with grandkids this year, and this Cottage was perfect. (We normally go to Gatlinburg) Cottage sits right on the river with the deck actually out over the river. Hot tub was well taken care of and located where we had a nice view of the river. We didn't realize we had scheduled opening day of trout fishing season, but we took advantage, and my son caught several nice fish right on the property. I enjoyed the fact that the cottage is a part of history, (Former Bat Cave Post Office), yet everything was updated with new fixtures and electronics. The beds slept great, and the grand kids loved the game room. Chimney Rock State Park and little downtown area are just a few minutes from the cottage on the same road. We were a little concerned about available dining close by, but were pleasantly surprised with the variety of options. Also used the available stainless Weber grill on the deck. I am certain we will return later in the summer. The owners were very nice, and made us feel like we were appreciated. Overall a very nice and relaxing vacation. (The massage chair was a bonus when I could get the kids out of it)

“An amazing Tuscany Experience In the Carolinas” Our visit to Fayetteville was very good, but it was tremendously enhanced by our stay at this fine Tuscany styled retreat. It has it's own separate entrance, very private, and has everything you need. The décor took us out of the United States, and made us feel as if we took an expensive vacation. Very quaint, clean, and relaxing environment. The Sharfs(Owners) were very hospitable and accommodating, but they also dignified and respected our privacy as well. We highly recommend this location, with no regrets, and we are anticipating a return visit.

“Great Place--Great time” Wonderful vacation spot, close enough to supper or bar or beach that we walked a lot. Hedges and fence give privacy even in down town. Owner easy to work with and always responded promptly. Sea grape is small but well arranged and very clean and neatly kept-felt like home. Hope to revisit again in the future... “The house and setting allowed us to relax and get away from the” My wife and I spent a relaxing 3 weeks at the Crest. The setting is beautiful and the house is quite comfortable. We spent our time reading and taking day trips to nearby towns and attractions and our city dogs loved being able to roam around the woods off-lead. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife around the house such as deer and a wild turkey. The cool air and mountain vistas were quite a treat for flatlanders such as us who normally endure the misery of august in south Louisiana.

“Tiffany Ridge” Cabin was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay very much: the drive into town is about perfect not much traffic if you take the back road around and yet you are still very private once you get to the cabin. My family enjoyed it we had as young as 5 up to my husband and I at 49. Plenty of room for 6 of us and everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. Thank you for sharing we will be back. “A great family getaway in a perfect location!” We had a wonderful stay in October at this updated, clean, spacious cottage. Our two children loved the layout with the bathroom connecting their bedrooms, and my husband and I appreciated the child-friendly, safe setting. It is rare to find such comfortable beds in a rental! The kitchen was well-equipped and modern. The hospitable nature of the owners was felt from the first phone contact to the small, but important details of providing extra linens, detergent and brochures of the area attractions for their guests. We loved the fact that we were only a 3 minute walk from the pool and playground and just a bit further to the beach. Renting bikes, along with the swimming in the pool and at the beach, kept us pleasantly busy, but did not prevent us from having the calm, family-oriented week which allowed us to re-connect. This is a cottage we definitely hope to visit again!

“Slice of heaven” I lost my husband of 34 years in 2005 and simply didn't want to return to the mountains until my dear friends convinced me it would do me good to go with them for a relaxing week-end at the Nelson's " retreat in the sky. I'm so thankful I went because we all had such a wonderful time. The home was impeccably decorated and had every amenity you could possibly ask for. The views were breathtaking particularly from the deck. The home sits on top of the mountain so it was as though we could just reach up and touch the clouds! Our days were spent exploring the many shops in Bryson City or nearby towns and our evenings were filled with laughter just relaxing in the jacuzi, playing card games & sharing life's stories. We are presently working out details for our next "Golden" getaway this summer at the Nelson's Retreat and we can't wait!

“Great house for large groups” We were switched from another house that was not what it appeared to be on-line so they moved us to Sail On Inn. When we walked in we knew we liked it even before seeing the bedrooms. Very large open area with a table that sits 12 to 14 people if not more. 2 of the bedrooms have access to the porch. Those rooms also each have their own sink and toilet. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and anything you could need. Plan to stay in this house again. Also have a pretty good view of the ocean and the access is right across the street.

“Life is a Beach” We love Edisto Beach.We always stay in a house during May & September.I also camp at the State Park about four times a year.We really ejoy the house we've rented for the past two years,and will stay there many more times.The people are courteous,friendly and of course if you are at Edisto beach you are happy.
