“Perfect apartment for London vacation” Traveling to London with family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teen/preteens) and we could not have found a better place to stay for our visit! This 2 bedroom/3 bath apartment was beautifully decorated but also very inviting. The outside terrace was such a nice bonus. Although it rained while we stayed, we still enjoyed the extra space the terrace gave us. After busy days of sightseeing, the apartment was a wonderful place to come back to and relax, especially with the Xbox, wifi and comfy beds. The location was perfect as we had a variety of restaurants immediately outside our apartments and only a few blocks to the busy streets of convent garden for amazing shopping, theatre and many more restaurants. Our hosts were very helpful as we arrived earlier than check in and they met us at the apartment to leave our luggage. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to feel like a local visiting London.

“Better Than I Expected!” My husband and I stayed at Cheval Calico House for 10 days in March. We booked a 1 bedroom, superior apartment. We had never stayed in a serviced apartment before, so we were anxious as to what to expect. The apartment was beautiful! Everything was brand new and extremely clean. The apartment had everything we needed. We had a nice size bedroom, great bathroom, and beautiful kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Upon arrival we were greeted with a complimentary deluxe hamper of goodies that came in handy!Reception was very helpful with getting us cabs and other info. The location was perfect. It is in the financial district so it was quiet on the weekends. There is a pub right down the street and a mall with restuarants and clothing stores around the corner. Within a 5 min. walk there is a Tesco supermarket with very well priced items. The tube station (Masion House) was a couple of steps away. Within minutes you were at any and all of the tourist attractions. When we return to London we will only stay here. The only complaint I have actually has nothing to do with the apartment. It is with the accounting system. As of the writing of this review I still have not received a bill or statment surmising my stay. Maybe this is the way it is done in London or with this particular establishment, but as a consumer I like to have things in writing. I think the accounting aspect of this transaction needs to be better.
