“Best experience yet!” This was our second trip to Vieques. On our first trip, we loved the island, we didn't love our rental house. Details were overlooked (dripping coffeemaker, no can opener) and everything was worn out. Definitely not the case with Casa Estrella - this house has truly been a labor of love and no detail has been overlooked. We loved staying here. The house is exactly what you need in a beach house, the roof deck was fantastic and the location was great. We have found our base for our annual trek to Vieques. (We have two young kids - 4 and 7- and the house was great for them too.) Highly recommended!!!

“Beyond our expectations” This was the perfect spot for a relaxing week surrounding our son's wedding. The owner is a pleasure to deal with, his property manager is a gem, and the experience was just wonderful. As for the home itself, it was everything we had hoped. You can see the beautiful view and well appointed amenities by looking at the Casa angular website. What you can't see is the attention to every detail that we so appreciated. Everything we needed was readily available. It was clean, comfy, and we will be back soon.

“Beautiful!” The location was perfect. Walk out the door to the beach which was great for snorkling and walking. After spending the day at the many beaches or sights, swimming in the pool was a nice end to the day. Bungalow was stocked with everything we needed. It was an amazing family vacation for our family of 5.

“Fantastic!!!” Alex,thank you so much for renting us your beautiful apartment and for making the rental process so much easier and the service you provided. It was perfect! We all had a great time. The apartment had every comfort we could have hoped for and absolutely everything we needed. It was very well kept. The location of the apartment was good and the 3 swimming pools and its facilities were exceptional. I liked everything about it. The fact of the controls at the gates are very reassuring. I did not appreciate the attitude of the female guard towards some other guests (not within our party)where instead of directing herself verbally to him, she basically blew her whistle in his ear and pointed to him with gestures what he was doing wrong. It was the only negative thing I can mention. Once again..it was a fantastic stay and would rent the same apartment again!

“Private home” This is a private gated Pureto Rican style home. Upper deck greeting friends one morning with mimosas! Beach...walk right out to it, sleep as you listen to ocean surf Conveniently located near shopping and any tourist destination/excursion you have in mind! Easy access to major roads/highway. “Everything we hoped it would be...” This first floor two bedroom apartment was great and just what we'd hoped it would be for two parents and a teen. It is in great shape and truly felt like a home and not a rental unit. In a safe neighborhood 0.8 miles from Isabelle 2, it is a quick drive or easy walk into town. Isabelle 2 is far more preferable to Esparanza in my mind as it is the main town where there are restaurants, a bank, shops and markets and of course the local people who we found to be warm and helpful. The unit has access to a wonderful private patio/garden beside a patch of banana tress and is surrounded by a privacy wall which allows glimpses of the ocean beyond. We enjoyed sitting there after exploring the island or a day at the beach. Being on a bit of a hill in the Bravo de Boston area allows for great sun and pleasant breezes which we reveled in. There was a place for our rented jeep as well. So of course everyone has concerns about the roosters crowing day and night as did we. Not many want to have roosters directly outside the window. Happily this location did not have "proximate" roosters. Yes, you can hear them, but they are at a distance and I must say we liked having the sounds of distant crowing as part of the Vieques experience. The unit has aC, but it was definitely not needed at this time of the year. The ceiling fans were perfect for our needs. Keeping the screen doors closed will keep out evening/early morning mosquitos which are another part of Vieques life. We were really happy to have the use of portable beach chairs and a beach umbrella provided by the Owner. A nice touch I thought. The owner was very pleasant and provided us with great tips on getting from PR to Vieques. She also gave us great information about the island once we arrived regarding the ins and outs of island life and was able to drop us off at the car rental place when we arrived, and at the ferry when we reluctantly started our return trip. We plan on returning and staying again!

“Great communication with owner and awesome condo with beautiful” Mercedes was very helpful with the booking and process to rent the condo. We stayed for one week with another couple. Plenty of room and updated kitchen. Balcony was great. We sat out there in the morning and evening and watched the boats go by. Location is right next to some great local restaurants and across from a marina where you can take a snorkeling day trip. Less than 10 minutes to the beach. We would highly recommend renting this unit.

“Wonderful Experience in Beautiful Property” We stayed for one week at this property. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a centrally located condo to explore the eastern coast of Puerto Rico. The condo is in the Rio Mar Wyndham resort. The property is very well-maintained. The owner of the condo was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions prior to our arrival. The owner provided a comprehensive document filled with tips, suggestions and recommendations for day trips, restaurants and grocery stores. I used this document a lot both before we arrived and while we were there. I would suggest the day trips to San Juan and El Yunque rainforest. For restaurants, we tried several of the owner's recommendations and none disappointed. Our favorites were Raices (Old San Juan), the Patio del Nispero in the Hotel Convento (old San Juan) and La Parilla (Luquillo kiosk). The condo is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The condo is steps away from the pool and beach. We had a wonderful vacation and hope to come back again!!
