“Long Weekend” Great location to beach and local places to eat and drink. Easy access to the rest of the Cape. Pet friendly was a plus. The only downer was it stated it slept 6 but only room for 4, this made for some unhappy campers

“Peace & Tranquility” I have stayed here 4+ times, and I come home relaxed and rejuvenated. It's centrally located in the middle of the western cape, the sunsets are perfect, we usually have meals out on the expansive deck, we bring our kayaks, watch the shipping entering the canal, walk/run/bike the canal path(both sides), cook or grill fresh seafood from local stores, enjoy the wine tastings at the Belfry, jump over to the vineyard for the day, and did I mention the sunsets? The home is roomy, light and airy, plenty of parking, just perfect for us.

“Great place to stay and play” A great place to stay for a vacation on Cape Cod. The rooms were comfortable and of good size. There was a relaxing atmosphere and all the comforts of home. Plenty of games and videos for adults and kids and a large screen TV. Parking was ample and easy to come and go. The kitchen was more than expected. The back yard and spacious rear deck and furnishings made outdoor meals and barbecuing a pleasure. I especially liked the covered outdoor shower (with hotwater) to wash away beach sand and ocean salt. Speaking of ocean salt, the beach is just a short walk away.

“Great time!!” This wonderful home was great for our Cape vacation! The home is beautiful and the owner's pride and love for their home shows throughout the property. The owners were excellent to work with, very professional and very responsive to inquiries. The house is beautifully decorated and extremely well stocked with everything we needed to make our vacation perfect. We appreciated all the amenities - inside and out, the huge rear deck was one of our favorite places to relax and enjoy the quiet area and the beautiful landscaping, we could even hear the waves at night. The location was very convenient to restaurants, shops and beaches and is centrally located to exploring anywhere on the Cape. We are looking forward to calling this our "home away from home" again!!!

“Fantastic & Relaxing mini-vacation!” Our biggest mistake was not staying longer! This was a beautiful escape and exactly what we needed. My husband and I together with our two-year-old, my sister and brother in-law and their three-year-old couldn't have asked for a more pleasant, relaxing, carefree few days. The easy walk down to the beach made a great early morning activity with the kids. The house is total perfection; clean and well kept with every amenity you could imagine. We loved watching the fireworks from the upstairs deck and sharing afternoon snacks or morning coffee on the porch just off the kitchen. Sandie and Bob are wonderful, friendly, and caring people that truly enhanced our stay. The pride they take in their property is evident. Each room in the house is cared for and the property carefully manicured. Making sure their guests enjoy their vacation is just as important to them as it is to us. We were so fortunate to secure a few days at the cottage. We cannot wait to return in 2011! Thank you, Sandie & Bob!

“Wonderful autumn week” Our stay at this property was wonderful! The view of the rolling backyard and the location is idyllic. This was our first visit to Nantucket and this rental contributed greatly to a most pleasant experience. This home is spacious, comfortable and stocked with every amenity. Big screen tv with cable, kitchen with more than ample cooking supplies, wi-fi and oversized dining table that accomodated 8 of us are some of the comforts of home. House was very clean and ready for our arrival. Beds are comfortable with nice linens. Towels are plush and ample. Washer and dryer are an added bonus. Given that we visited in the off-season (the week of Thanksgiving), we made use of mild weather by walking (to the beach, around the cranberry bogs, to/from altar Rock and around Nantucket town). The beach is welcoming and observing the seals just 10 yards out was a thrill! We did some Black Friday shopping downtown. On rainy days we enjoyed the extensive collection of reading materials, especially the coffee table books on Nantucket! The owner is extremely helpful and readily available to address any concerns or questions. He recommended restaurants and offered suggestions. We loved the Whaling Museum but didn't allow ourselves enough time for a complete visit. Guess this means that we will have to go back! Overall, a great home and a great place. You must have a car as this property is located several miles out of town. “great stay in Vineyard Haven” We enjoyed staying in David's guest house. It was clean, well situated (a short walk from downtown Vineyard Haven), and made for a relaxing few days on the Vineyard. David was easy to reach and very responsive to any of our needs. I would highly recommend you stay at the guesthouse.

“Cozy & private by the sea!” My husband & I were looking to stay somewhere quiet & private for our week get-a-way. We were not looking to be entertained, we were looking to relax. This was the right choice for our vacation!. The cottages are nearby each other but separate from each other providing privacy from the neighboring cottages. We stayed in cottage #93 on the end & felt more "secluded" from the driveway/roadway. The beach was a short walk from the cottage - no need to bring the car! There were a number of trips made in the morning to the pretty beach location coffee in hand or a chair, drink & book later in the day. The beach is a rare find during "high season" since there is no fee to use. The cottage itself is small-ish as expected w/2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 common area for kitchen/living space & a nice size front deck w/a picnic table. Easy enough for simple vacation living. When we arrived, we encountered a couple of issues @ the cottage that were an indication of the previous inhabitants & their negligent & destructive living habits. One call to Jamie and the issues were handled promptly. The Property Management Team came to the property & addressed all concerns immediately! All in all, my husband & I will surely be looking to return to this cottage for another stay - maybe even bring the grandkids next time!

“Paradise” We were in heaven! This property is secluded and beyond peaceful. The house looks out on a small harbor and quiet beach with rare birds. The sunsets are extraordinary and we enjoyed many nights lounging on the porch, drinking wine, nibbling cheese or grilling (freshly caught!) fish and watching the sky turn colors before it got dark (and then we were faced with brilliant stars--we're New Yorkers so we don't get night skies like this!) The house is spacious, yet very cozy. The master bedroom has an amazing (huge!) shower and jacuzzi. The living room has big comfy couches, throw pillows and a working fireplace. One night we roasted marshmallows and played cards. A perfect stay-in evening. I feel I should also say--this house is stocked! The kitchen comes with everything you could want if you're a foodie (we grilled, made mixed drinks, made sushi one night, baked muffins, everything.) There is great cable including HBO and a video library, as well as games for kids if you should need. We loved to bike some days to a nearby beach (Madaket, about 15 minutes away) where there was a little more action than our private one (a taco restaurant called The Westender and spot with bigger surf where we went to boogie board.) The house has beach balls, paddle ball, and buckets for building sand castles. The bikes provided by owners are in great shape and there were also helmets available. Additionally, we loved that there were ocean kayaks, though we didn't have a chance to use them. Mostly, I think we all appreciated that we could completely unwind in this peaceful spot, read, sleep in, enjoy the beauty of the island, etc., but also get into town quickly if we wanted to go out for dinner or get drinks. Getting to Cisco is also a pretty quick trip--and we went twice to the brewery to get a drink after the beach and listen to live music. Overall, this was one of my best vacations in recent memory. You must try this part of the island and
