“Best experience yet!” This was our second trip to Vieques. On our first trip, we loved the island, we didn't love our rental house. Details were overlooked (dripping coffeemaker, no can opener) and everything was worn out. Definitely not the case with Casa Estrella - this house has truly been a labor of love and no detail has been overlooked. We loved staying here. The house is exactly what you need in a beach house, the roof deck was fantastic and the location was great. We have found our base for our annual trek to Vieques. (We have two young kids - 4 and 7- and the house was great for them too.) Highly recommended!!!

“Wonderful experience!” The house is beautiful inside and out as well as very welcoming. Once inside the kids raced to pick out their bedrooms for the week. All the bedrooms are very spacious with huge closets. The house and property are well kept and clean. We had no problems using the wifi or our cell phones. The air conditioning was great after a long day of fun in the sun. We never had any problems with running out if hot water for showers or laundry for our family of four. The house is only minutes from the highway, but far enough away to be a peaceful place to stay. We definitely made this our home away from home. The owners Julie and Bryan were very helpful answering all of our questions and were a true delight to work with. The entire family had a fabulous time and cannot wait until we can go back again!

“Beautiful!” The location was perfect. Walk out the door to the beach which was great for snorkling and walking. After spending the day at the many beaches or sights, swimming in the pool was a nice end to the day. Bungalow was stocked with everything we needed. It was an amazing family vacation for our family of 5.

“Amazing!” check in was a breeze. The house was very nice and the views were amazing! The location of the house was perfect...5 minutes from Isabelle, 10 mins from Esperenza, 15 minutes from the airport. One of the best vacations! We love Vieques and hope to return within the next couple months.

“Everything we hoped it would be...” This first floor two bedroom apartment was great and just what we'd hoped it would be for two parents and a teen. It is in great shape and truly felt like a home and not a rental unit. In a safe neighborhood 0.8 miles from Isabelle 2, it is a quick drive or easy walk into town. Isabelle 2 is far more preferable to Esparanza in my mind as it is the main town where there are restaurants, a bank, shops and markets and of course the local people who we found to be warm and helpful. The unit has access to a wonderful private patio/garden beside a patch of banana tress and is surrounded by a privacy wall which allows glimpses of the ocean beyond. We enjoyed sitting there after exploring the island or a day at the beach. Being on a bit of a hill in the Bravo de Boston area allows for great sun and pleasant breezes which we reveled in. There was a place for our rented jeep as well. So of course everyone has concerns about the roosters crowing day and night as did we. Not many want to have roosters directly outside the window. Happily this location did not have "proximate" roosters. Yes, you can hear them, but they are at a distance and I must say we liked having the sounds of distant crowing as part of the Vieques experience. The unit has aC, but it was definitely not needed at this time of the year. The ceiling fans were perfect for our needs. Keeping the screen doors closed will keep out evening/early morning mosquitos which are another part of Vieques life. We were really happy to have the use of portable beach chairs and a beach umbrella provided by the Owner. A nice touch I thought. The owner was very pleasant and provided us with great tips on getting from PR to Vieques. She also gave us great information about the island once we arrived regarding the ins and outs of island life and was able to drop us off at the car rental place when we arrived, and at the ferry when we reluctantly started our return trip. We plan on returning and staying again!

“Jungle living in a modern loft” I stayed in loft 2 for 3 nights of my honeymoon and it was awesome. The 150" Hdtv only has 1 channel, the ocean channel (ok so it's really a massive open window with amazing views of the atlantic). It was amazing to feel the breeze blow through and if it rains at night, it's like being in the heart of the jungle, except you don't get wet. The rooftop terrace was wonderful and being able to see both the atlantic to the north and Caribbean sea to the south was great. This place is for people who love nature and the out doors but also like some modern conveniences and amazing views. We ate at alex's new restaurant at Hector's by the sea (open for dinner on Sunday and Monday) and were blown away. The setting was incredible, but the food was even better. If you get the chance, take it.

“fabulous !!!” It was a real pleasure having been able to meet such a wonderful and professional person as Mrs. Pabon. Even though we never met in person, everything was handled in a professional and timely manner. The property was in excellent condition and well furnished. I definitely recommend renting from Ms. Pabon and hope to do so again in the future. P.S. The property is about 5 minutes from the beach on bike!

“Beautiful” The house was located inside a gated community. It was a open and breezy layout. Was a short walk to a private beach. The house included two bathrooms and four bedrooms and was spacious. Walmart was within a 15 minute drive for groceries and there were several eateries within a few minutes from the house. All in all, it was an amazing trip.

“Great Location, Great Service, What's not to like???” As a disclaimer I have stayed with Casa Caribe several times (in basically all of the properties) over the past few years and have always had excellent service and great accommodations. However this time we decided on a last minute trip (i.e. leaving same day) and allyn and Ivette were excellent in coordinating everything last minute and getting everything prepped. Once again everything was top notch, Carlos went out of his way to get us the keys in the early morning (as in 4:30 am) and there were no complaints on our end. Although it would be nice to have a cooler in the house to take to the beach for after surf "beverages", but I can understand why you wouldn't have one in a vacation rental. Don't hesitate to contact them for your stay!

“A little piece of Paradise...” From the moment we contacted Billy with all our emails, he was nothing but helpful, courteous and pleasant! We spent 1 week at the house and were so happy we chose it! It's close to all the beaches, a gas station, Panaderias (Bakery), shops and grocery store. The pool is fantastic and the views are wonderful, day or night! During our stay, the days it would get very hot, AC would've been ideal, however, seeing the layout and design of the house- so open and airy, you would understand why there's no aC. We were welcomed by Evelyn, whom answered all our questions and made herself available if any issues (which we didn't have) the house was well equipped, full kitchen, spacious, clean and modernly decorated. I will definitely recommend Rincon Vista and plan to return for another stay!

“Special family vacation/visit for many memories to cherish.” It was a pleasure to stay again in this house in Vista Mar after our last stay four years ago. It very comfortable and spacious. I'm from Puerto Rico and every time I come back to visit I stay here and my family who live in Puerto Rico love to come to this home and visit as well enjoy the house and the ambiance. There is a few things I told the owner to upgrade for and more pleasant stay. On my next trip back I hope they will be done. Besides that its perfect. And must I let you know who Chester cheetah and Tigger and Symi are they will love your company and please feed them they are the neighbor cats and are sweeet as can be. If you have pets at home and you miss them they sure will help you feel at home.

“joe paradise house” The barrero beach house, was one of the best stays we had in Rincon . it was me and my husband and my small maltese dog. we had a great time. The waves were very soothing day and night. beautiful area, nice and relaxing, neighbors were very friendly, my husband was invited to go fishing with the fishermens next door. the house was so comfortable , it had everything but food lol. joe is the uncle we never had . We cannot wait to get back there. not only is hes pet friendly but people friendly also. we had stayed in rinco paradores before but never again. Thank you joe for our best stay in such a lovely house. see you soon : )

“Great Villa” This house was great and super fun to stay in! Close to the beach, with amazing view towards the shoreline. There were several cooks in our group and I can say the kitchen appliances and BBQ were perfect! Also, the balcony and living room area had a great breeze.

“estupendo” Casa Marbella is a place where I personally enjoy it. Has well near one of the beautiful beaches of my island (CRASH BOAT) Also the water park (LAS CASCADAS). The house is a safe and very comfortable place and is in a very beautiful place. Has nearby shops and restaurants. I personally had a great time.
